I have been looking into getting myself into the tech space because of my love for everything technology, and to find initiatives like #wethinkcode that are making it happen is amazing.

Great video. I attended bootcamp on the 20th June to 25th at the Johannesburg campus, was a really great experience and I was fortunate enough to receive an email from them last Wednesday that I've been invited for an interview... Looking forward to being a part of WeThinkCode

Hey, congratulations 🎊 did you know how to code before and how did you prepare for the camp?
@@s.n7323 yes I have prior coding experience with 3 - 4 different coding languages. I've been coding since 13 and now I'm 17. The coding language used in bootcamp is Python, I've only played around with Python before so I prepared by watching a 1hr Python crash course on TH-cam and used W3Schools

Great video, can't wait for mine to begin in a recently opened campus in Durban. I am starting in a month. I was wondering how much of Python is covered, i only haf of OOP, Data Structures, Iterations and selections, functions yeeeaa.

Hi there, I did not have any prior coding experience and I am not sure how many people they take....don't stress yourself with that...just go and do your best...its a place to learn📕

Hi there😍, , so remember that nervousness is often a sign that you are stepping outside of your comfort zone and challenging yourself.
With time and effort, you will likely find yourself adapting to the boot camp environment and growing more confident in your abilities.🙂
many people experience similar feelings before starting a new learning experience...I did and I guarantee you, it was not that bad👾

Hello, can you help please, do you need a laptop for the bootcamp? I will be attending mine virtually, my question is besides the one I'll be using for the zoom meeting do I need another one for coding?

How long after the bootcamp, do you get feedback of whether you've made it through or not?
As for me, I got my response in a week. I don't know if that's the case for everyone
After passing the entry test do I wait for email for bootcamp date or I should just go to the campus??

Hi there....if you are attending your boot camp at one of WeThinkcode campuses then it's not required...unless you are doing your boot camp online.

hi @karabo as for me i really wanted to get a feel of the place and meet people that is why i chose to do it on campus and i enjoyed it, so it will depend on your situation just consider things like, transport, internet connection, and the working environment you will be comfortable in.

What language is used for the Exam? How can I prepare for it?
@@karabomodika6839 there is an email with study materials that is sent to everyone attending BootCamp from WeThinkcode.....study and prepare using that.

Hey sis what happens whe you miss one day of your bootcamp because of an unforeseen circumstances?
Nothing should affect anything. Just show up on those remaining days and do the best you can, 🥰 good 😊 luck 🍀

Hi Kagiso, unfortunately i wont be able to rate it that way because my challenges were not the same with everyone else. Try leaning to the positive side :)) and go do your best :))

I'm so scared I'm going to attend the bootcamp ..I'm a bit antisocial nd I have little knowledge of tech lol I'm literally having sleepless nights thinking about this and I'm thinking of bailing🤣

Do not think 🤔 of bailing my love. If you are interested in learning how to code, the Bootcamp will set the best structure for you to do that no matter the outcome....so go and do your best, and enjoy the experience.
