    That was so hilarious at 6:36 where Dom is telling Ross to slow down & Ross's annoyed reaction in the background. 🤣 Dom's Sunday shindigs must've been outta control awesome back in the day!

    The home almost certainly has been remodeled at least once since Dom lived there. If there was $$ under the tub, someone found it by now.

    Out of all Dom's stories, it's some of his Cali stories that I really have trouble believing. All the cars, the ridiculous house, the "colombian friends and crip friends" at his "Sunday Parties." It sounds like his ideal version of what he wished it had been like. It's a movie. Like Scarface. And maybe it was like that. But i doubt it. At least i giarantee it's not close to the 100% truth. Maybe 60% truth.
    Nevertheless, I love Dom, his stories, and the REAL shit he did for America in Vietnam. And he WAS the real deal when be was in New York. Where people can actually vouch for him--Sammy the Bull talks about him, plus his cop/government buddies. But theres no pictures or any peoplle or arrest records or absolutely anything to verify any of his Cali stories are even half truths.

      At least they're more believable than Sammy Gravano's stories. In his stories even Scarpa and Chin were in awe of him. In one interview he said that when he met Roy Demeo, Roy was bragging about "his coffee boy doing six murders". In the next interview it was already "30 murders". "Coffee boy" was probably Dracula Guglielmo. I know he was involved with the Crew killings but Sammy's stories aren't consistent. He also told a story about Roy where he fantasized killing all the 70-80-year olds in a cafeteria. Based on Murder Machine and Albert's book that didn't sound like Roy at all. He was ruthless but his killings were 99% business and he had a lot of sympathy for problematic people like Freddy (dyslexia) and even accepted a fat homosexual Vito Arena and his boyfriend to his inner circle (despite protests from the crew members).

      Which guy doesn’t embellish his stories at least a bit..... some a lot more then others .lol

    • @signoguns8501
      @signoguns8501 ปีที่แล้ว

      There was A LOT of money to be made from cocaine in the 70s/80s, especially in a city like LA. Buy a key direct from Colombia for 5k and then break it down and sell it on the street in the US for 45k, those are accurate 1970s prices according to Joe Pistone. I have no doubt that he made an absolute fortune. He probably did blow it all on fast cars and big houses. That's how mob guys lived. They would make a score, live like a king until the money ran out, then live in poverty until the next big payday.
      Remember, Dominick was friendly with a lot of the cops that investigated his crimes, right up until his dying day. None of them ever suggested that he exaggerating or lying about his criminal activity.

    • @ibrown3KC
      @ibrown3KC ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@detonator2112 I like Sammy's stories. Especially his OurThing podcast stories. Did he embellish his value at times, especially during his early days? Probably. But for the most part, I don't think he was intentionally lying, but rather, he's nearly 80 years old and telling stories of things that happened 40 years ago--I'm not gonna fault him for mixing up the exact syntax of a quote or conversation he had.
      And as for the Roy DeMeo "Coffee Boy" quote, I doubt that was Dracula, as that was Roy's uncle--the way he said "coffee boy" I think he was referring to one of his younger hitters like Anthony Senter or Chris Rosenberg or one of the younger psychopaths he had working for him, hence the term "boy." I don't think he would have referred to his uncle as boy.
      Lastly, you say you don't think Roy DeMeo sounds like thr type of guy to fantasize about killing all the old people in the coffee shop, well I must disagree. For that is exactly the type of person Dom Montiglio described as well and it sounds EXACTLY like something he'd say. And do. I mean, they literally killed people for sport. They killed drunk people who were too wasted come closing time in their bar. These were psychopaths. So Roy saying that to Sammy doesn't sound far fetched at all and actually sounds EXACTLY like good old Roy.

    So he built a million $$ house on the beach, had a sailboat and had a Maserati , he was only in California a few years ??? Sure sounds like he did "borrow" stacks of Ninos money for "start up cost" !!!! Even If he did steal Ninos money,,,I'm sure Nino stole it from someone else ,no honor among thieves (or family), I know Dominic swears he didn't,, but the pieces of the puzzle sure fit easier that he did!!!! , I mean no disrespect to Dominic R.I.P.

      @@jimthompson4068 that wasn't the original intention of going back to NYC. You obviously didn't read MM or see ANY of the documentaries dom was in. There was a huge amount of "supposed" quayludes that fell into Val and Danielle's possession. It was doms connections they were getting rid of them to. The quayludes ended up being fake at which point they were broke & ended up with a plan b with dom trying to shake down Jeffery winick for money leant to him with vig years prior.
