Do you have a list of the colours you had swapped out with? .What you have done has certainly brighten up the picture for the better. I really like what you have done. Especially the water.
Good question! AB stands for Aurora Borealis. It is an iridescent coating process that is put on top of normal, opaque resin/acrylic drills, showing different colors that seem to change when seen from different angles. Crystals or Rhinestones are transparent, acrylic drills, that give a different look or dimension to a certain area of a diamond painting (DP). SPARKLERS are glass drills, usually with an AB coating, that shine like "AB drills on steroids" or like diamonds.
I have used on dragonflies and butterflies because of the greenish/blueish iridescent sheen. I did leave plain black around the outline (to keep distinction, then put the ABs inside the eyes or the body.
