It’s a sad song for sure but his voice is stunning here. I have never heard the downward sliding vibrato like this before so I would agree he does some vocal textures new here. The rolling I think you were hearing is the Kazakh rolled words we don’t have in English. This was an impromptu video done this week. He filmed at this angle because he just broke his right hand. He is wearing a splint and sling. Hasn’t stopped him though. He never takes a day off❤
A song that’s melancholy, but still feels soothing to my soul! Perhaps it’s the lovely Kazakh language? Or maybe the flow of the gentle melody? But in truth, it’s definitely Dimash’s beautiful delivery of this ballad that affected me. It’s a wondrous journey that my heart loves to take. Thanks for sharing your reaction to Dimash! I’m in total agreement with your assessment! ❤❤❤

Dimash has melancholic and philosophically very metaphorical compositions: In this song, it is not necessary to say whether he is talking about a loved one or whether he is having a conversation with his own destiny (As he did in the song "Omir"), which he considers as a love to which he owes reciprocity! Either way, it's a beautiful song!

Thank you Rick for your sincere and insightful reaction. I have listened to this song many times. Initially, my feeling was that it’s a declaration of love. Then the lyrics made me feel that bit of sadness and melancholy. His emotional and vulnerable voice and his delivery of the song was so heartfelt. Yes, he injured his right hand just days ago, so he was being very careful and clever to keep the filming on his left and not go to his right side. Being in the autumn setting also adds to the sadness. A longing of love? 😊❤
Some people don't like "sad" or melancholic songs, only happy ones. I would guess Dimash really digs into the depth of emotion that a more melancholic song requires to sing. I think it may be a Kazakh trait, as the country had to suffer very much before it became a free homeland. I read other comments that said his teacher used to sing this song in a similar way, and that while he changed it to suit himself, he kept certain elements as respect for his beloved teacher, who heard this version and loved it. This song was first sung by Dimash as one of three songs at the opening of the Almaty Tennis Open, which was where his right arm and hand in a cast and sling made it's debut also, and people were so full of wanting to know what happened to his arm/hand that the song got a little short-changed. So on the spur of the moment while walking through a park, this video was made which hides his broken wing. This lets the song take full attention, and it is a brilliant idea to put the emphasis on the song. Dimash sings it brilliantly, and you analyzed it brilliantly. Thank you.
Thanks for the reaction🎶
Stunning song &, of course, stunning voice. I think you may be getting the meaning wrong. The composer of this song wrote it for his wife. Dimash's stance to the side is because he has an injury to his right hand/arm which is wrapped in bandage or in a cast & in a sling! We saw his injury the day before he released this when he sang this beautiful song & 2 others at the tennis championships in Almaty. His teacher first sang this years ago &, being the lovley gentleman that he is, Dimash asked for his permission to sing it. Thank you so much 😊🙏💞
