The ladder hinge works really well. We keep two XL locking D carabiners and a loop of webbing pre rigged on our basket. Just hook the carabiners to the rungs and it’s done. That eliminates the knot tying and shaves a few seconds off the set up time. That also allows us to quickly perform a stokes basket ladder slide without changing the rigging.
What knots are you using to secure the basket to the ladder? I have done this before in a class, but it has been many years. Thanks for the video and the reminder of what a single company is capable of doing with minimal equipment.
