So I went into the folder where all my materials/textures are and it still didn't find them, even though its the exact folder they're placed in. What did I do wrong? I didn't rename them at all.
hey I got a question about fire animation and why it does not come back when I save and open the file at a later date. I always I have to restart from scratch and this is a nuisance. I need help. Still very new to blender
When I go to search for missing files, none of my folders are there with textures, but when I go to where the file is stored from the file manager, they are all there.
I'm getting a lot of "files not found" even though I'm looking right at the file and name appears to be the same. This is from an internet download, so maybe it's a linux vs pc thing?
So I downloaded an obj and the creator already added textures to it as I see that in the shader editor. The problem is that the texture files didn’t come with the zip folder so blender can’t find them. Is there a way of resolving this?
Without seeing what the set-up is I’d reach out to the seller and ask if they’re embedded or not. If not then he/she should be able to send them to you.
This doesn't work for everybody, and I don't know why. I keep the same texture library on 2 PCs and when I work on a blend file on the other PC I have to literally point to each PBR texture folder. Why the heckkkk
Hmmm....Make sure to select a folder higher than where the paths would be stored. If you know the files are in your "C" drive, or in a folder titled "Textures" select that as the path to search. If you don't have luck, try going bigger....even searching your whole hard drive if you need to.
