An Open World
Ashes of Creation is a unique take on the MMORPG experience. Our world structure is dynamic, and built to react to your actions. Cities will rise and fall as you shape the world of Verra. As the world’s NPC structure is established in real-time, you will have the ability to destroy what’s been created, paving the way for new developments, populations, and change. You can carry a 3rd mining bag in place of your Sanctus bag if you want. 27 stacks of 85 items is 2295 total. Crazy.
And then when they make master and grand master bags, it's just going to mean more stuff.

i carry a 3rd wood bag for the rarity bonus drop rates that being said hasnt helped still only get whites and greens for willows haha

I've run over 20 caravans through both phases; out of the ones I've lost, 90% were to the server. That said, the caravan has improved to the point where I now fear PVP more. I have also lost vans due to PVP, but I've devised a system to keep my vans relatively safe; finding defenders for your van is exceptionally difficult, even in a PVX-focused guild. I can confirm that nameplates are showing up as of a day ago. Ryve was funnelled those legendaries through our crafters, and he 1 of 3 complete sets. Since the availability of legendary gathering nodes has decreased because of server bloat.
Resource transportation: perhaps you can only process those regional resources only in the region in which it was gathered. And since you can not stack processed goods as high as raw resources, you'll run out of bag space pretty quickly.
I honestly hope Ashes just looks at Tibia systems and thinks about implementing them for a lot of their PvP systems. They're so simple.
- Flagging lasts 15 minutes after combat, longer if you're corrupted.
- Being flagged stops entrance to safe-zones.
- Safe zones should be around temples, markets, warehouses, and embersprings.
- There is a justice system with corruption so corrupted players can defend themselves from non-corrupted players that decide to attack them without gaining negative side effects.
I like the current timing with going purple while looting. It’s awesome risk vs reward and fun to see people measure whether or not to attack haha!
But for sure attacking purple is a huge risk right now because when purple drops u go red.

2 minutes for looting (extended by combat),
5 minutes for attacking (extended by combat),
15 minutes for consensual pvp resulting in death (extended by combat),
30 minutes for unjustified kills resulting in corruption (extended by combat).
i mean if i have a small pvp skirmish with 1 person i know have to wait 15 minutes to put my loot away
So the problem of when new players come into the game low level materials are no longer valuable or needed was solved with hardcore wow. Being able to lose your character and have to start over solved so many problems and kept everything fresh and relevant. Normal servers get stale very quickly, but hardcore ones do not, and everything means so much more. In Ashes, nodes getting destroyed and starting over should account for this. While pvp deaths shouldn't permanently kill players, having some sort of end game content that comes with extreme risk but rewards the best gear and rarest items is good for the game. Despite what the vocal minority thinks and whines about, death being meaningless where you can die a thousand times with no penalty or punishment makes the whole game hollow and meaningless. People need to play hardcore and develop an understanding for this. What makes a good game now is so much different than what we used to think. Losing toons and money and items permanently surprisingly solves so many of these economy and other problems. There needs to be some way to account for this in a game where buying economic node mayorships and freeholds and other things matters so much.

I think the pvp immunity should be applied while you have the storage/stalls menus open or at embersprings spawn area. The aura forcing corruption in town is not a good idea at all ties, it should only apply while you have the menus up obstructing your ability to view yourself being attacked, that's the only way I can see it be balanced. If we want to kill someone in a town, people already have the risk of being killed by a guard and gaining corruption from killing a non-combatant.
They already said they plan to have the non-structured pvp flag under the structured pvp flagging, so if you fight someone at a town, any sort of combat puts you into the background flagging as if you were purple, which means the guards can now attack you, even in a guild war. So this system plus the storage/stalls menus providing protection should disincentivize people attacking others in towns.
"New World gathering was best in class" dude you are so right. They just need to copy paste it in AoC. Also best in class in New World is the atmospheric sounds while gathering...so good dude, like that echoey vibe. Way too subtle and muted in AoC...but i digress.
With dueling atleast u can spawn a 10s caravan and go to town for aslong as u want with no penalty :p
being hit when flagged should reset the duration should need to be out of combat of players for the 2 minutes or what ever it is
