Horrible weekend, too much traffic.

Great video! Question to a fellow Z4M owner, when you're queuing on track, every time you put the clutch down when you move there is a knocking noise, my M roadster does the same thing. Any idea what that is?
Haha yeah, its the double-mass clutch. I’ve gotten used to it.. :)
It’s not, nothing to do with the dual mass flywheel on the S54. It’s a combination of driveline shunt at low speed. All S54 cars do it, e46 M3 included

What do you think about Z4M on track ?
The racetrack is the only right place for it. It’s great fun. It’s a little like an old 911, a little scary. Things can go very wrong very quickly, which is not ideal on Nordschleife but very rewarding mastering on most other tracks. You need to turn off ESP or install M-Track. Its quite heavy (but lighter than M3) still the brakes are good with good pads & new fluid. It’s a real, old school, analouge sports car.

Good drive but PLEASE rev match 😅 I was wincing every time the rear locked up when you banged down a gear. Super dangerous if it happened at the wrong time or wrong conditions plus it’s much easier on the car.

Actually not that dangerous or bad but yeah I agree cosmetically it would be nicer! :) Sadly the Z4M pedals don’t make it easier.. 😄
