What can u say about The Rest Of The Story every video is just outstanding even from when Travis first started. Once I get through all the videos I start all over again and they will never get old. Be safe Travis and keep up the great work!!! Have a good one
Well, it goes with out saying, be careful while you're checking the stirrer and the grain. But every farmer I ever knew felt like he/she need to keep a close eye on their grain and storage till they were able to get it to market. So if your in the bin while the striator is working, it's the best time to see potential problems. Nice video Travis....
Yep lotta dryers getting a workout this fall for sure... At least yall are putting stuff in the bins at 19% or so, most of the stuff around here was coming out at 30% and even after a couple weeks it's STILL coming out of the field in the mid-twenties range... Bin fan and burner working overtime. We had a stirator belt burn up but it was pretty much when the corn was about dry so that was replaced and we're putting the last corn in the bin today if all goes well. Hauled the last bin to town to empty it out for this last part and it was running about 16% on top and down to about 12% on bottom, so good enough. Bout all you can do bin drying anyway. Later! OL J R :)
Hello, you guys have a lot of things to keep after and do a great job , that’s all part of the day to day work when there’s equipment involved always something needs attention, great job, keep the videos coming.
Hey Travis, enjoy your vids. Thanks for explaining the stirator. I am curious, do those augers go the entire length of the height of the bin? Thanks for your time.
@@hardcoreplayafromthehimala4888 that depends on the corn an how far they dry it down to.. I've seen my 10,000 bushel dryer drop 18" with 20+ corn in it
Yes I know I'm supposed to tell you to be careful but I'm pretty sure you already know that I'm just glad to see the corn is drying down

Could you try using blue Loctite to keep the bolts from vibrating out? Double nutting is fine but using Loctite (or other brand) is added insurance.
Hey Travis!! Be careful in there.

Thanks for the video, always nice to see the impossible view shown by someone with enough competence to do it safely.

Where was the safety harness?
This bin hasn't had any corn pulled out of it. The risk of crusting/collapsing was nil.
Can you do a time lapse of that bin?
Seeing all that corn makes my want to get a small glass of whiskey 🥃 on the rocks.
Do you still pump the hot air in even if your stirator breaks down?
Yep, ideally it doesn't stay down long
You think about putting a drier up
Good think you aren't having to buy a lot of LP to dry corn.
Good to see the bin full. Don't like that your in there making a video for us. Bin safety says you shouldn't be
How long are those augers?
Most go with in 4-12" of the depending how you want it set up. I run mine 6" from the floor
@@johnwarren-649 he said moisture is around 19, in a few days how much it will drop?
