SBEMU: como emular el sonido Sound Blaster en MS-DOS 6.22 con tarjetas AC'97 o Sound Blaster Live!.

En este video voy a explicaros cómo conseguir sonido Sound Blaster en MS-DOS 6.22 nativo usando SBEMU. Este software de emulación nos permite emular SB 1.0, 2.0, Pro, y 16, tanto en juegos en modo real (con QEMM.EXE) como en modo protegido (con JEMMEX.EXE).
Probaremos varios juegos en los modos real y protegido (Monkey Island, Prehistorik, Doom) y algún software de reproducción de música (MPXPlay). Veremos que se trata de una solución muy buena para aquellos hardwares compatibles y mas modernos que, de otra manera, no funcionarían con sonido sobre MS-DOS.
Debemos descargar SBEMU y QEMM v7.5 y proceder a su instalación en MS-DOS 6.22 y realizar algunas modificadiones en el AUTOEXEC.BAT y el CONFIG.SYS para que nuestro sistema funcion correctamente.
Las tarjetas o chips compatibles con SBEMU incluyen:
- AC'97 sobre chip Intel ICH.
- nForce.
- Intel High Definition Audio.
- VIA VT8233 & VT82C686.
- SB Live/Audigy.
Necesitaremos:
- EL software SBEMU:
www.vogons.org...
- El administrador de memoria QEMM (versión 7 o superior):
winworldpc.com...
- Una tarjeta de sonido COMPATIBLE con SBEMU.
Hay que añadir a AUTOEXEC.BAT y CONFIG.SYS lo que sigue:

C:\SBEMU\SBEMU
CONFIG.SYS
DEVICE=C:\QEMM\QEMM386.SYS RAM
DEVICE=C:\SBEMU\JEMMEX.EXE
