I did the pretty much the same thing except I had a Foch B defending. Used gun, MLRS and towers. the others were: is7, 277, is4, 268/4, 121, and 140. It turns out AL controlled tanks struggle to pen these types of tanks (especially heavies) in a point blank brawl. In total I only lost 2 games this way out of like 30+. The losses were bc after a even brawl it ended up with me w/ 2 half hp heavies vs a 3/4 hp s conq... on a ridge. both times too i was in their base which they had a flamer set up. one was on airfield, i was east spawn, the other was cliff i think, south spawn.
Chems is so disappointed about the shitters forcing Wargaming to change steel hunters to make it playable for them that HE decided to teach the shitters HIMSELF to prevent history from repeating itself

Strategist is a very interesting and fun game mode and I remember when it was introduced to wot console a few years ago and it was a really interesting concept
Shitting on QB is well deserved, as despite the passage of time, he is still the same pseudo-skilled grifter, who offers "advices" to shitters and makes himself as some kind of game expert, while most of his audience watch him for entertainment, not counsel (fucking Jingles is more of an advise wellspring then QB, although more for ships then tanks)
I don't play WoT and I still enjoy watching vids from Chems, tells me something that Chems makes good content and that you don't need to play WoT to watch his videos.

I used Chems' strategy of using only auto loaders and a 60TP, watchtowers, and the only thing I changed was switch to AT guns from MRLs. I won all of my 1v7 matches after that as well, not just all my 1v1s. The only one I lost was to someone who was using the exact same lineup, so obviously they watched this video as well 😂
i miss this gamemode, it was actually fun altough i could not play as my only tier 10 is the ST-II which was baned for some reason. I hope they return the mode and allow the ST-II
I enjoy the gamemode it's very good but the one very annoying thing is when you send a tank into a hull down spot and then it proceeds to turn it's gun towards an enemy on the other side of a wall and the enemy right infront of the tank just starts destroying said tank. (ya boy's in top 50 in 1v1 eu)
my tank set is: kran, s conq, vz, is 4 (instead of the polish heavy, because it's harder to pen the is and the bots are bad even at standing still), obj 430u, e50 (although this is a hard subject to change), and a foch B. this way the dynamics of the tanks are similar and there is a plenty of both firepower and armor. I have won most games this way, only assholes camping at the base could outlast me because the bots are shit at attacking
Thing about this gamemode is that winning doesnt even matter, unless you want to get badges... you can get the rewards easily without winning... that's why I do stupid stuff
if you dont care about ranking and only want to get rewardsits better just yoloing in and getting 40 points every 3-4 minutes instead of trying to win for like 10 minutes for 60 points
My setup is mostly for shits and giggles and for trying my next hypothetical grinds out. I take a Maus, Jpz, Pzkfw VI, E 100, AMX, T 62A, Obj 430 u and an E3 and usually have them all rush with a T62 A camp. Won a few times but mostly loses cause I do not care about the win.
Played like you since it came out, but I only played two games cause this mode isn’t really my thing, I still don’t have all the tanks in the game so I rather keep grinding tanks.
1:1 is fine cause both players have to deal with the lack of intelligence of the AI but in 1vs7 you have no chance the AI doesnt retreat and you lose your flanks before you even have a chance to switch tanks.
I use S.Conq Obj.277 Is-4 cuz its underrated and op Obj140 121 Leopard and Obj.V4 MRL Big Guns AT guns Now its the pure allround setup The Leopard good for a semi light or flanking as i usually control that cuz it can die fast . V4 is perfect to send out alone on the other side of the map in a corner cuz i dont have warchtower , if its encounters something its still hard to kill even for god aim bots and it has the speed to come for me from the other side if i need it . AT guns is good for shitty maps like Airfield or Mines where i cant play as i would like to , those are usually behind my V4 . All the other tanks move in a horde or 2 grup meds/heavy a few sectors away to always build a crossfire . I can micromanage and can break down the enemy strategist if i need to on Paris when i spawn in the 9 line i can just retardrush the enemy and i can also just do moron camp if i wish to cuz these tanks still have armor and i have my AT guns so even if few bots dies the enemy often pushes me forgeting about my AT's and than 6 tank gets completly fucked on my 3 one with 2 AT .
I actually don't use hold mode that much as I like to use agressive tactics and they are quite a good support and at least when they get attacked they try to take cover not just sit there like morons.

Honestly, you don't. Put all of your tanks in sniper positions in your base, take watchtowers, MRLs and gun turrets. And then hope that the 7 player team is braindead. That's your best bet.
Ok, some constructive criticism cause you're malding that people don't watch this video: It's confusing. You need headers you say out loud for every segment. I would like to know what I'm looking at and why I'm looking at it. So for instance: "This game is an example of another failed push attempt on Airfield. Pay attention to what this player does here at this time and I will show you what I did to stop it" It may seem like that's what you're already doing, but it really isn't. I didn't even know this video was meant to be broken up in segments map by map until 15 minutes into the video and I saw timestamps in a comment. You can make fun of quickybaby all you want but he's got more practice doing this than you, and there's no shame in that. But if you want to get good viewer retention and convey what you want to accurately, you need to put more structure and cohesion into guide videos like this. This could have been 30 minutes instead of an hour and still be more informative that what it is in its current versions. Unfortunately it's not just a case of editing, you'd have to record voice better. Try to do short pointed segments one at a time and maybe even rehearse them once instead of doing one long take. That's fine for streaming, and chat would naturally ask you to clarify if you were being too confusing or vage, but in video format you have no live feedback, instead you just get clapped in the comments after the video is out. In other words, git gud. Video was a 4/10 you can do a lot better especially since it could be very useful.

ok, nice, but ive played as tanker 1v7 about 10 times, and i was amazed by the aimbot on the ai, as in e100 hitting manti in abbey snapshotting

TL;DR: How to play this mode seriously. But most of us are only in it for the rewards after 18 collection. The faster it is to do that, the better.

I disagree on the part where arty is useless, people camp in this mode and if you take a cgc it can help out a lot
French arty is best, you can stun infinitley
