So you're saying there's no Loki Strategy.... .....I think this looks fun. My family would like it, my sister and her kids would like it....Glad to see Eric Lang doing a very different type of game.
This looks too complex for my wife which is my indication for mass market. Any time I see multiple cards with lots of words, I'd be moving it to the gateway plus to medium range. It does look interesting though.
Looks ok. Not sure it warrants a buy. There are tons of tile/tetris games out there. If time passes and it turns out to be the best one then maybe I’ll get it.
I think the name (and maybe the theme) is a complete miss for the mass market audience that they are going for. No one has ever heard of Reterra and "Life in Reterra" does not have any kind of association. It does not indicate what the game is about. You could say the same for "Catan", but it took DECADES for that game to reach the mass market based on hobbiests trying to get the game played with their friends.
Im definately a fan of the illustrations and overall look.

Great analysis, excited for this!
I’m excited to try it. The team is such an odd grouping. Lang, Gruhl who is best known for Cahoots and Happy Salmon, and Hasbro.

"...but your kids are of that age..." *listens to 5 minutes of explanation* What age exactly? Like early 20s?
It looks too complex for mass market. Entry levels should get project L or kingdomino
