This album is a kind of MUSIC FOR ALL SEASON... it is so relaxing to listen, especially when played using old amplifiers, ie tube amplifiers, record glitches seems like an essence in this music. I will always listen to this album. Thanks for sharing this album in TH-cam.
This is absolutely fantastic and the STEREO makes it even better! Thank you for sharing!!
He had one tight band. You can tell they were seasoned musicians from the swing era and blended beautifully with each other.
July 2020. I would imagine that in its time this orchestra was a delight for dancing..Ballroom dancing in the 1920/30 period seems to have been a really popular pastime for every age.No TV and radio in its early days.wiuld make going dancing a real pleasure and dancing to this orchestra e real treat. Jan Garbers music is for your listening pleasure and for dancing too.
Hello, Is the LP cover of an American Decca or a British Decca ?
US Decca. The Harlequin "mascot" as well as the US Decca catalog # give it away.
