Congratulations, Mark! The car is beautiful man. I also agree that the 3800 engine is one of the best ever made. The interior is clean and love the seats!
My first car is a Buick too and in fact, I got mine in October 2017 from CarMax in Kansas City. It’s a 2015 Buick Encore. And I’m going to be honest, not every Buick is a grandpa car. I’m 20 years old and the Encore is fun to drive around and I love the Deep Espresso Brown Metallic color, which is just basically brown, that my car’s exterior has along with the 2 tone brown color on the interior. The interior colors on the 2015 Encore were Ebony Black, Titanium Gray and that 2 tone mocha brown color I just typed about. The best interior color for me is that brown color. I really love how Buick went through the trouble of making everything brown, including the steering wheel, every single button inside of the car, the carpeting and floor mats, the seats, the shifter along with the plus and minus buttons on the top, both the turn signal and wiper stocks, the door plastics, etc. I think brown is becoming my favorite color, that I’m starting to like it on both the interior and exterior of my 2015 Encore. Anyways, it’s not just the interior and exterior that I like about it. The car also came with a Bose Sound System, straight from the factory like other General Motors products. I also like the fact that it came with Bluetooth since I only listen to music from my iPhone. Because I want to have a variety of songs to listen to other than listening to 1 CD in the CD player, and I hate some of today’s music that is played on the radio today. And not to mention, in some places like inside of a tunnel, you can lose radio reception and also I don’t want to hear some stupid commercials. The steering wheel is leather wrapped and is the same steering wheel as to what you get in an older 2010’s Chevy Cruze, Chevy Malibu, Chevy Sonic, Chevy Trax (Chevy’s version of the Buick Encore), Chevy Equinox, GMC Terrain, Buick LaCrosse, Buick Regal (obviously not the one that is in the video), and the new 2017-2019 Buick Encore still has the same steering wheel design too. Anyway, Buick makes great daily drivers, and I’m glad that I have the 2015 Buick Encore and I hope to keep it for a long time.
Congrats! Im personally getting a 2003 Buick Century with low miles from a neighbor of mine. I just need to get my temps & the U.S. written test is hard... ive taken it 2 times (2nd time i ALMOST passed) but im waiting til 3rd time can be the charm! Anyways, nice beautiful car, & have a great day!
Always love seeing these cars. I just posted my first video of my 2001 Regal LS. Been giving mine a few updates. They are great cars that just aren't made anymore.
@@fordmustang98guy This one for just under a year now. But it was my parents, which they had pretty well new. A couple had bought it and they didn't like it because it didn't have a bench seat. Strangest thing to complain about. I had a 1999 LS for about 8 years. Great vehicles.
@@kellygrant4964 how long has your parents had the Regal I mean the 2001 that you currently have? & when did you get your 1999 Regal? & what was wrong with your 99?
@@fordmustang98guy It was only a year old when they got it. My 99 I purchased in 2007. I kept a newer car when I sold it to family. These regals seem to make the rounds with us! But it has been the only vehicle that I regretted selling.
Back in August, I bought a 2008 Allure. It’s pretty much the same car as the regal. Same W body platform mate, same tranny. It’s a more rigid version of the Regal. Only difference is mine has the 3800 series 3 v6. So far it’s been an excellent car. I had 141000 km when I bought it. Currently the car has almost 152000 km. I have had to put some money into repairs though. Ignition module went bad on thanksgiving so the car would crank but wouldn’t start. Then in February I had my resonator removed because it rusted out causing an exhaust leak which resulted in my fuel mileage dropping. But overall, it’s an excellent car. I’ll definitely get mine to 200000 km before the body rusts out. Plus my allure was built in Oshawa. Your regal was also built in Oshawa. Go Buick’s!
Congratulations Mark! That 3800 will last you a good long time. I just ordered my first new car, a 2017 Chevy Sonic LS, I special ordered it to have an On-Star delete, and I added power windows, and power locks, and i took out the MyLink touchscreen and i replaces it with a Fleet Spec headunit. Congrats again my friend!
JustinFilms I traded in my 2015 Sonic LT and bought a 2017 Cruze LS. I really like the redesigned Sonic, but I didn't know you can special order an LS with power windows. I would've done that if I knew!
I ordered it as a Fleet Spec, even though I only bought one, I was able to order with Fleet options. Same with th OnStar delete and the headunit swap. I would’ve just gone for an LT but I don’t like the rims nor the MyLink.
JustinFilms I hate the steel wheels on my cruze. That and the lack of cruise control and steering wheel radio controls. I kinda wish I looked at a 2017 sonic LT or Premier. The redesigned tail lights and gauge cluster look so nice
The Cruze LS is a terrible car for what you pay. At that starting price you're at a used 2016 Malibu LT or Premier and if you go for a Cruze LT you'd be better off getting a Malibu LS.
JustinFilms I wanted a brand new car though. The Cruze LS is alot of car for the money. Sure, its lacking some things, but it has power windows/locks/mirrors, turbo charged engine, touch screen MyLink system, back up camera. All standard. With incentives and rebates, I got mine for $5k off the MSRP- only $15k. That's pretty hard to beat.
Aftermath Gaming Honestly These are definitely good cars to own make sure it's got low mileage make sure it was well maintained & driven flawlessly even look underneath the car especially the rocker panels they are known to rust but I definitely recommend these Regal's and Century's their good daily drivers just properly maintain them & you should not have any headaches with them
Front reminds me of my dad's old Chrysler Cirrus ( he hated it, welcome to the worst product from Chrysler) it wasn't a slow car, it was a fast house. Thank the Lord he replaced it with a manual 5 speed Honda accord. Plz do more video on this car and perhaps even a road trip.
That's the same color as my aunt's maroon red 92 Buick Regal Limited and I think I might get a 99 Buick Regal but my first car is still my 1985 Buick Century Limited with 60,000 original miles on it and I'll buy my 85 Buick Century Limited for $1,615 but I been saving my money I have like $356 now but I don't want to spend my money to buy things I had to save it for my 85 Buick Century but maybe after I sell my other cars I will buy a 99 Buick Regal and I can still keep doing videos of my aunt's red maroon 92 Buick Regal Limited well it's not my aunt's Regal anymore it's my grandma and grandpa's car now and my grandma still has her blue 95 Buick Century and it's got 51,000 miles on it now. Buicks are great cars. Awesome car you have Mark.
Congrats! I, too, have a 3800-powered Buick as my first car! (Mine's a Lacrosse, an Allure up in Canada). Gotta love it! Great mileage, a comfy ride, and good power.
I feel like Buick Regal’s are making me sad nowadays because our friend and former employee has tragically left us a couple months ago and it has been a hard time for his wife to the point where she had to let go of his 2000 Buick Regal that he had since new and this car has been through hell and back but it carried a lot of memories and now it has to go to the scrapyard
