Well done achieving your target species the smooth hounds, lovely fish and a bonus visitor from the North East coast getting in on the action lol. Nice lad your guide mate very knowledgeable and knows the score re his quarry. keep em coming tight lines as always.
Excellent video as always, I’ve noticed some TH-cam channels have superchats where you can make donations and yours hasn’t David, must cost you a fair bit in fuel alone to create content, is it not something you would consider setting up so your subscribers could contribute to your pot as a thank you, I genuinely look forward to watching your new videos.
Cheers Eddie. That’s interesting, I’ve never considered that no. I might look into to it 👍 Thanks as always for watching and commenting, much appreciated 🙏
@@fullcircleangling can’t do any harm setting one up, I would be more than happy to contribute. All the time and effort you put in to produce the high quality content for us, it would be a great way to say thank you 🍻
Another cracking vid David , lovely fish them .. I’ve never fished for hounds or any of our uk shark species for that matter .. it’s defo something I need to sample though .. perfect camera work and footage as usual .. 👌🏻
Classic mate well done 🦈🎣 Clever man on the rig setup a had another trip over HMB last friday there was 1 hound out......out of 50 or so anglers but the locals were saying the dredger was in the channel that day 🤦♂️ anyways well done pal 🎣👍🏻
Where is the best place to park for these ledges ? Is it by the lighthouse cafe or the college ? Ground looks ok not as bad as some places especially up in the north east ?
Hi Paul. We parked on a road a little walk away, sorry that’s about as much as I know with not being from round those parts. Sorry I’m not more help! Thanks for watching and tight lines 🙋♂️
@@PaulFrancis-bj6vp it’s nowhere near as heavy as NE venues Paul. If people used the same set up in south wales as they do in the NE they’d rarely lose any gear due to the strength of braid. But, that comes at a price in terms of distance with thicker braid compared to 18lb mono and actually being able to fish in fast tidal areas, I’m not sure the braid would enable you to fish properly without the stretch.
Yikes, 500 miles and 12 hours on the road in one day… at least you’ll know where the best service stations are now😂 Some nice hounds and rig tips. What’s your next target?
Haha I certainly do Oli! Not sure yet, I’ll be over Scotland on the boat soon so looking forward to some Tope fishing I think. Hope you’ve been catching a few 👍

No problem, how did this venue compare with the North East rough ground marks in terms of tactics , gear and tackle loss ?

Actually I just returned from a reconnaissance trip out west looking for new spots. Good luck with the Tope.
You two ought to get engaged? 😅 Poor Gary
😂😂 Gary will be back soon 👍
I thought hounds prefered clean ground?
Clean or rough mate, depends where you’re fishing for best results.

@@fullcircleangling apparently there offshore in the north east but dnt usually come close enough to catch from the shore
