Yeah they did not tell you about Grammarly. Yeah do Grammarly.
Try this. 8 suggestions. Turn on Grammarly and find them. I make so many punctuation, grammar, and extra prhases.
Captain Baur New York Air National
At the January 11, 1997 TWA Flight 800 Inquiry by the NTSB, Capt. Baur stated that he was co-pilot the night of July 17, 1996 at 8:30 p.m. on a NY National Guard H-60 helicopter training mission performing practice approaches at Gabreski Airport waiting for it to become dark enough to do night vision goggle aerial refueling with their tanker.
Capt. Baur was co-piloting on the approach to Gabreski Airport Runway 2-4 and upon completion of the approach started turning to the Southwest and looked up and saw what looked like an incendiary device. He asked his engineer if it was a pyrotechnic, and then saw a succession of three explosions each larger than the other and called the tower that “two aircraft just had a mid-air off the coast” and am proceeding there immediately.
Mr. Wiemeyer, the NTSB interrogator, asked about the light conditions at the time. Baur replied that it was dusk, but it was still light out.
Wiemeyer asked about the color of the explosions, and Baur replied reddish.
Gabreski Airport weather station at 7:45 p.m. reported weather conditions at the airport as hazy and cloudy with winds at 4 knots.

Good lesson, but why do academics overuse the word, "so." It's very distracting.
