I’m trying to focus on a curated thrifted mostly wardrobe. (A forever wardrobe) I will be retiring in a couple years and want quality items that can be mixed and matched and will last. I’m also a Gemini and I don’t like “classic” styling so many basics are not my thing. I like to make a statement!! I’m also on a strict budget want mostly natural fabrics for a good price for my plus size body. I moved away from turtlenecks during menopause “too restrictive” but now I love them again and recently fell in love with one from Amazon basics I bought 6. One of the only “new”purchases this year I purchased one in black 3 months ago washed and dried love it feels good great price and I’ve styled each one in several different ways. Will purge a lot at end of winter because so many things I haven’t worn. I also thrifted some great quality cute tweed jackets that several of the turtlenecks will go with. The jackets are both statement jackets one is cropped large black white houndstooth print the other is gray houndstooth tweed patchwork style with pop of red and all different color buttons so cute. I’m having fun but also going to be brutal in my purge

Absolutely LOVE the memo about flats… at 58, and 5 feet tall , 100 pounds but very short legs I always felt like I had to wear heels always! I am finally at that place where I just don’t care and am embracing my outfit and styling rather than “looking tall or perfect” it makes getting dressed way more fun! Love your videos, and Beth Jones as well!
Five feet 100 pounds too, I gave up trying to disguise the obvious, that I’m short. When I wore 3” heels I was still short! So I finally decided to just roll with it I wear shoes that that I can walk fast in and at the end of the day my back is not killing me. I dress with intention so I start my outfits with my shoes and go up from there.😊
That pink bed jacket and plaid blazer are so pretty . The navy and gold summer skirt and halter w gold flats.. a solid yes!! I took, am taking a break from my heels and leaning more into flats these days.. I'm 53.. been wearing heels since my early teens.. my feet need a break.

I think the floral catsuit would be amazing with a skirt over it and some nice heals, maybe add a chunky belt for some goddy goodness... Anyways, no matter how you style it I'm in loveee with it and yesssss you can definitely pull it off..... 😊❤❤

That romper was a show steamer for sure, I would love to see the doubletakes when you walk into a room. Looks like you did some good damage in December. I also like pieces from India and I do have some great items that I thrifted but since I am a bigger built it a rarity to find something that fits.
