It’s fantastic! The company that makes this is coming out with a bit of an improved version of this stopper in the next month or so. I’ll be posting a video once it’s available to talk about the difference in design. Stay tuned.
@@zhouchenyi5199 I just received version 2 and as soon as I find a bit of time, I’ll put together another video. Hopefully in the next couple weeks. Stay tuned!
@@jon8625 you should! I’ve been so busy I haven’t had the chance to install version 2 yet. The original version has worked out very well for me. The updated version should perform well.
Good video. I bought one of these but decided to use a spring clamp on the door rolling rail uptop and i am able to stop the door at any position. Just remember to remove it before closing door👍🏽
@@terrain4x4adventures Aluminum with sticky tape, similar to the one shown. I probably would have bought this one, but for the cost of 50 cents of aluminum and sticky back tape... and about 5 minutes of filing I decided to make my own. It has worked well for 3 years now 🙂Mine is a bit different shape, but works the same.
Is that a fan at the top rear ? I have considered putting a fan on the side of my sprinter too as I have limited space on the room, whatever it is, it looks great on the side here. not too intrusive and works well with the rest of the van
Oh no! I’d suggest reaching out to OpenGlass Van Mods and let them know what happened. Here’s their contact information- Email: hello@openglass.studio Phone: 760-892-1803 Let me know what they say.
❤thanks for posting.
This should come STOCK on ALL vans.
I hear ya!
You could also have more for different positions.
Great point!
Love this mod. One of the first things I did when I got my van.
I’m really liking it too!
Was wondering if something like this existed! Thank you! Will be the first mod we do when we get our Sprinter!

Nice video! Any comments on version 2? I really want to add this to our van.

Very nice, what a beautiful area
You’ll need to come out this way sometime and have me show you around.
@@terrain4x4adventures For sure, we will make it happen

Do you find that as an easier option? I’d prefer not having to think about it.
Yes, definitely one of the first things we did... except I made my own ;-)
Nice! Using what material?

Thank you! That’s actually a speaker. Our van has a pair of outdoor speakers on the side.
@@terrain4x4adventures haha that s cool! party van!
Wonder if this would stop an automatic door? I want to set my auto stop there
That’s a great question. I’ve only used it on manual doors so unfortunately I just don’t know.
does not work with automatic door. manual yes.
That’s correct.
Worked great for a couple of months, then fell off somewhere...
