I completely agree with you about prans mom. I think she has a right to be upset and hurt but I don’t think she’s right in putting that on her son. It’s her hurt not her sons.
Yes but I kinda get his mom tho. Like Jeevan said, if I was put on her position, I wouldn’t want my son to ever associate with someone related to my greatest enemy.
@@takaminaakb4853 Yes, i think she was mainly afraid that he raised his children to be the same as him, and so she was terrified if Pran got close to them, they could hurt him too. That being said, I also think she shouldn´t have assumed so stubbornly that Pa and Pat are bad people without any proof. Children can be different from their parents after all.
10:08 literally it's just Nong it means sister or brother in Thai too. In this situation the word 'Nong' is suppose to replace Pa's name like a pronoun so the person translating translated this part for for word
When you were confused as to why ink refers to pa as sister, In Asian countries we usually call older guys/girls brother/sister. It's not a sibling thing at all. My mom still calls my father ''aiya'' (meaning older bother) cz that's what she used to call him at uni when they were friends before dating, and they never changed that reference. It's very normal. Same thing when pat asks to call pran ''big bro'' it's flirting lol
@@jeevstmg I guess it's different from country to country? Since we grew up adressing everyone we are closed to like that, we don't even think twice about it. it's like koreans calling each other oppa/unnie etc. I guess 😂
if they hated each other why live next door? they both literally couldve moved far away from each other and not create unnecessary hate. What the father did was effed up and the mom has the right to be mad. I hope she accepts Pat at the end because he is not his father and they love each other.
Hey there Jeevan. New sub here, thanks for the vid! The part where Pat's Dad pushed Pran down and got all crazed and then Pran telling Pat repeatedly to talk to his Dad while pushing Ohm away and also crying - I feel like the emotion here was Pran being really hurt by Pat's Dad's actions to the point of going down the rabbit hole of the thought, "What if my deepest desire is denied just like before because of our parents?" He was feeling that hard so was pushing Ohm away to resolve it with his Dad ASAP. I think he is always kind of on the edge like that about their relationship since he has loved Pat for so long and already had his heart broken once by the first forced separation, that pain is still close to his heart. He is a complex emotional boy, like me, so that's what I think haha.
I saw on ig that they filmed two dimensions for that scene, one is Pran crying and softly telling Pat to go clear it with his dad and another is this one, outburst full of feelings and the choice was left to the editor so he chose this one cuz he wants to show how Prans going thru a lot of emotions at the time, hurt, stress, anger, fear…etc
I think you live in Nepal and Hindi country where are conservative country, many thing in Nepal are hard to show in the public. But This is Thailand , We open ,we want to show whatever in the public, It's not weird, Because Thailand is Buddhist,we open (Thailand seperate religious out from rule of human world) while Hindi or Muslim or Chatolic country try to do the rule and religious together(relevant) to cover country , so a lot of people in those country must hide something that we want to do and not exciting, That's why Muslim,Hindi, Chatolic are very conservative
I am so done with you Jeevan seriously because I feel you are not a good observer , you absolutely don't understand the character of Pran I guess, that's why most of the time you keep on asking why he is being like this, why he is doing this or that...I mean, what are you watching actually then?.. Pran is totally a complex character unlike Pat, he has his own inner world..he has so much that he just has kept to himself only and right now after becoming Pat's boyfriend he has just started to open up.. Pran has lived a life fearing that he doesn't do anything that ruins his parents name or upsets them, he fell for Pat but couldn't dare to tell him just because of this thing, he loves Pat so much and extremely scared of getting apart from him because he already has experienced that pain...this was different for Pat because at that time he wasn't aware of his feelings for Pran.... Pran's mom has raised him as an ideal son , so Pran also has to maintain that image ,that also pressurises him..he scares of listening to his heart although he entered into a relationship with Pat but he is still very much scared....
I'm going to wait for the rest of the episodes before commenting on Pat's dad. I mean for all we know, maybe he stole the scholarship in hopes that he could have done something else besides inherit the family business but had to give up his dreams because of Pat's grandfather. I don't think anyone in this series is really bad to the core or anything, I mean they are good parents to an extent if their children care about them and grew up this well.
The story is very beautiful. It should show more intimacy between the characters. The series has everything to be a great success. But it needs sexier scenes between boyfriends.
It was a dirty move to influence a decision about who would be rewarded the scholarship! Pat’s dad needs to man up and make it right with Pran’s mother. However it’s ridiculous It was taken to the extreme it was! First she sends her only son off for three years! Secondly , she remains living next door! Wouldn’t it have been better to just move and change schools? Pran had to go study abroad, away from his family and friends! It’s just all very extreme! Pran crying at the end shows the true hurt and confusion she created for her son. It is heartbreaking!
The worst thing is that Pat's father suffered so much pressure to impress his father and instead of breaking the cycle he just transferred all of it to Pat. And in addition, because of what he did, Pran's mom became controlling, bitter and puts this insane amount of pressure and expectations on Pran to be everything that was she couldn't be because it was stoled from her by someone that she trusted deeply. And the source of it all was fuc**ing Ming. I still wouldn't forgive the slap though, in my culture, a slap in the face is the most disrespectful thing you can do to someone (idk if it is a global thing) plus, Pat is not his father, doesn't matter how much his father wants him to
It’s not appropriate to bring up your Personal Problems and scandal your son in the middle of a shopping mall. I know that it’s hard to be Parents but creating more lies to your son and putting into this mess you create… you should be the one sorry for yourself dad.

@@takaminaakb4853 exactly my point...Its easy to say but in real life I wouldn't probably want my closed ones near them.....

No cus I’m traumatized by the word of ‘let’s get out of here’ after watching Dew the Movie 😭😭💔
I don’t think you’re following the story .. by now you should know who is the father of both of them 🤔 and who is the employee lol .
I'm confused with the faces 😭🤣since they're shown very less
Facts 😏. Reacting without knowing who the father is. 🤨
Another iconic rooftop scene.
