LOCATION: Fisherman’s Landing
CITY: San Diego
DETAILS:
Police were called to the Shogun Fishing boat that was in the docks. The first report was of a man not breathing. When officers arrived, they found 4 males unconscious and not breathing.
They were all exhibiting signs of a drug overdose and were given Narcan.
All 4 were rushed to the hospital. NTF was called in due to a suspicion of fentanyl being used.
The boast had just come back from a 3-day fishing trip and had offload its customers and fish, and were getting ready to reload another group for a 3-day trip. Several people on the docks told us that the Captain was among the 4 men transported.
UPDATED: One person was arrested with Fentanyl found. This person was not a member of the crew and not one of the victims.
I'm the Captain now
You'd think with all these incidents ppl would stay away from that stuff. Especially being an adult.
The problem is they didn't have a NO FENTANYL sign displayed.
Someone must have had enough lucidity to call 911 before passing out.
lucky they weren't out in the middle of the ocean.
Grand Funk Railroad predicted this alonggg time ago....."I'm your Captain, I'm your Captain, though I'm feeling, mighty sick...."
4 cases of stupid is as stupid does.
Nice work Tim. Stay safe brother
4 deckhand jobs have opened up on a nice wide boat.
The Love Boat has morphed into the Drug Boat
Oh man, that's a shame.
You can tell when a bad batch of heroine hits the street lol they start passing out like flies
Whoever is coughing hope they are wearing a mask.
the Shogun: an "as" new boat, new equipment, and it appears to be owned by a group that isn't exactly known for doing drugs.
That's crazy I hope they can all get into recovery but it's scary to think those guys held others lives in there hands in a dangerous ocean
Update 3 men are dead and 1 is fighting for his life at the hospital
Finally some good news on TH-cam
Out at sea....a crew member falls over the side and is taken by a shark. Half an hour later the shark is spotted floating belly up and dead!
Poor guys I hope they get help.
Looks like every cop in the city showed to get credit for providing assistance at the scene.
