Your puppers is too adorable! I grew up with mini dachshunds. Mainly red short hairs. My daughter actually has one named Ginger. I don’t recall you saying his name. But, I was busy watching him play, so I missed some of the vinyl. My hubby got me a Yorkie(my dream dog) after my daughter moved out, almost 4 years ago. Let me tell you, he is the absolute puppy love of my life! Actually, my husband adores him as much as I do. That’s saying a lot for a man it took me over 26 years to get to love dogs as much as I do. His first real pet was a boxer/bulldog mix we bought in 2007. We lost her in 2020 and that devastated him AND my daughter. She actually rode with him to have Biji put down. She had cancer and was suffering. We had kept her comfy until it was time, though. That was a tough one. They say cancer is commonplace among boxers. Anyway! Sorry. I got in my feels there for a second. Congrats on your new puppy! They bring so much joy and unconditional love into your life! It’s soooo worth it all!
Awww!! Sweet memories! ❤️ I'm sorry you had to put Biji down. :( We had to re-home 2 dogs that we loved because we downsized from 5 acres to a small lot & they were runners. JJ (our dachshund) is such a love bug & is making us remember how much joy pets bring to our lives! We're also enjoying the ease of having a small indoor dog. Yorkies are pretty dang cute, too! ❤️ Thank you for sharing your pup stories with me! :)
Thanks so much, Brandy! Using a torch is what works for me. I've seen other crafters spritz a light mist of isopropyl alcohol over the surface, but that doesn't work as well for me. Probably user error. ;)
