My mother went to school with Phil keggey. I have seen Glass Harp a couple times. Always a good show. Anyhow, on the radio Y 103 Phil was a guest. My mom called in and got to talk to him. He sent tickets to her for a show in boardman, Ohio. In 2003. So 41 years after they graduated. Great night that was. Thanks for the free tickets Phil.
Very wonderful music. I'm 63 this year and have been finding a plethora of amazing music from my teenage years lately. I had about a dozen go-to's back in the day but without Internet then you were exposed mostly by what radio and TV in your region decided to broadcast. I still play and recently met up with two new friends, one who produces. We're on a new musical journey ourselves and it couldn't be a bigger gas!! Music can set you free and as you get older don't ever lose your passion for it or life and it's grind will wear you down. Keeping the peace brothers and sisters. 🙏🤘✊✌️
@@portlavacaboy Thanks for your comment. Could you list some of those you consider really good, please? I feel a bit lost (I'm 68!) trying to find good contemporary bands.
@@alan2007-x8x Certainly! I am a fan of heavier music, so that's where I usually land when looking for new music. Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons, Sleep Token, Appalooza, and Sergeant Thunderhoof are some of the bands I've been enjoying lately.
@@portlavacaboy Thank you! I shall investigate them right now as I find myself listening to seventies stuff (which is fine, but it would be good to expand my horizons!). Grateful for your reply.
Yes, the music of the late 60s brings constant joy to fans of quality music from hitherto unknown, almost anonymous bands and musicians, it is a balm for the soul to listen to this still current production that is not subject to devaluation and rusting:)
Wow...the 1st track is super moody...transports you like a magic time machine to its exact period...this is fantastic...Phil Keaggy...John Cale...right on...brothers!!😢😮😊😢
What a treat; Thanks for sharing this ! I remember hearing some of their stuff back in those days when I was discovering R&R as a teenager with a pocketfull of cash to spend on vinyl.
Overlooked Gem!! I’ve heard some of Phil Keaggy’s tunes on Spotify. He is a really talented Guitarist! Daniel Pecchio also played with the Michael Stanley Band!
From Wikipedia: Glass Harp are a rock band formed in Youngstown, Ohio in 1968 consisting of Phil Keaggy, drummer John Sferra and bassist Daniel Pecchio.

@@mauriciomontez369 Great Band!!!😉
I'm feeling like you guy!!! Let's go in this trip............
As long as there's lust for music, it will never exit anybody's life.
How strange to listen to a group of people who could actually play their instruments. ♥
These were the days. And no autotune.
Plenty of real rock bands still out there, guitars, real drums, great vocals and no auto tune. I'm 67, and I find new bands to listen to all the time.

Lovely ethereal melancholic music and with John Cale from the VU just adds to it 👍🏴👍

The guitarist & lead vocalist are Phil Keagy. Awesome player, very understated like Mike Campbell
of Tom Perry’s band.
