Played last night. The core of the game feels good. Definitely needs work but the core feels great. They've had a lot of hiccups along the way but massive progress has been made these last couple of years.
Pantheon will be available both from download from their website as well as Steam, I expect that it will only be available from their website for some time before they release to Steam for Early Access
I mean that depends on the person, but I say the important thing is just getting access to the game to play it, which you now get from any of them including the $50 pledge
40 dollars to game test a game that's been in development for 10+ years is insanity. It should be 15 dollars. EA has 6 zones. Races are different in size and ears and hair color....wtf.
Ffxiv does similar with bodies, the Ogre, dwarf and Skar should have unique bodies, and I disagree with paying 40 bucks for access to a game is too much, I don’t think you understand the cost of payroll, servers and content creation, marketing. Do you realize how many people would have to pay 15 bucks to get this thing to release at costs needed to do so? You can hardly buy a 24 pack of soft drinks at that price. Let’s be realistic here
@@TheNathanNAPALM Its not worth 40 dollar box price. There are free to play games that are enough fun that you spend money at their cash shop. This game has taken 10+ years to supply an EA with 6 zones and weak graphics that are similar to a 2006 MMO. Its going to get review bombed to death. I was hoping for a new EQ like everyone else but its just not in the cards with Pantheon. It looks worse than games people are working on as "passion" projects. That isn't a good sign. You shouldn't feel obligated to cover Pantheon because there aren't many that cover it. There is a reason. I am sure plenty of people would watch you play other games.

You can't deny this game has a ton of negative views about it. This is coming from a player who LOVES old games like EQ DAOC UO. Which is Pantheons main target audience. Its not worth 40 dollars. You'll see in December.

I saw on the video that it should be showing up on STEAM and early access should be coming out by DEC?
They've said they may launch to steam a few times and yes, Early Access starts sometime in December 2024
Sounds complicated to even play if you joined Kickstarter back in day, how will kickstarters play on Steam?
