His frustrated meowing at box 10 was adorable 💜. Isn’t it amazing to watch him size up the stack at 10 boxes, the way he walked around it trying to decide if he could make that jump? He even considered jumping from the side table. Maru is so delightful !

What a great challenge! Maru got progressively happier and happier for boxes 2-7, but I think 8 and 9 were a little perplexing for him. And then Box 10 came out, and Maru, who is wise, knew that he was beaten. But it was cute seeing him check all angles and possible things to jump off of to try to conquer Box 10. Mugumogu, what a wonderful game for the box-loving Maru! :-D
I remain convinced that Maru knows he's being filmed. He turned toward the camera every time. Even if he's responding to the owner calling him (which we cannot hear), I'm still impressed. Not too many cats respond to their name. It was amazing and amusing to see how badly Maru wanted to jump into #10. He truly has a box fetish, and I love him for it.

I was on the edge of my seat watching Maru try to find a good angle to get at the 10 box! It's good that he knows his limits, but I hope you helped him up afterwards. Even if it didn't count for the challenge, all boxes still need to be sat in.

Vaulting boxes is meant to be jumped to the other sides, but since this is for cats, I can understand. And oof, 9-box is really high, even for humans. And Maru have set such a high record. Magnifique! (Try adding a springboard next time; it may help him jump even higher)
Maru likes to hang out on top of the fridge, so maybe for him getting on top of 9th box is easy 😄👍🏻I wonder if we will see him on the 10th box soon. He never gives up after all! 😆
