Thanks Tim. I like MTW for panel building, especially low voltage. There is nothing worse than opening a panel that somebody used THHN because it literally explodes when you take the wire duct covers off.

Interesting. Most of the specs I see here in Canada call for TEW in control panels. It’s touted as being good for harsh environments

TEW is the same as MTW.

I understand the Ethernet isn’t voltage rated but how do you explain POE. Even my UL rep was basically like it is because it is.

MTW is typically 600V. Ethernet is 50V
