If it makes any difference it is the anniversary edition with the original map, and I don't use the bus shaped tokens.
The Pax Renaissance box is so good, they run out of boxes before running out of the game at Essen. Thus, I only have the game, not the box.

I admire your commitment to the bit. You are right about glossy boxes, though. I do like a little gloss sometimes, but the whole thing being glossy does bug me. Worse is a sleeve--I enjoy On The Underground, but the sleeve just angers me
So glad you bumped Carcassonne up to a 4. After stealing your box for years, I finally am the proud owner of my own, still one of my favorite games to play, and decently easy to play via video during Covid times.
I'm glad to hear that, because retrieving it from Germany would be a pain in the butt.

3 out of 5? 3 out of four and a half? Five out of four and a half? It is a mystery scale... but... you have Cave Evil, Pax Pamir, and Magic Realm. You have already won in finding great hidden gems. I loved Root but could not find enjoyment in Oath after many plays. Impressive games collection for sure though.
No Quirks in that Eon collection?
Not yet, I need that and an original release of Hoax to complete the collection.

That's correct, ultimately didn't find myself wanting to get it out to play. I'd check out a 2nd edition if it ever came to be.
