You mention you’re doing a dry sponge because it’s on a flat painted surface… do you mean “flat paint” as in non-shiny? Or flat as in not curved? We had a kitchen fire but our walls had shiny finish paint, so I’m not sure whether that effects if we should use dry sponges or not LOL!
