Hi Wayne - I think Will Still always wanted to manage in the PL (ideally West Ham) and used Sunderland links to raise his profile on social media - he makes a lot of comments not about his team to fuel this. His convenient appearance near Press box at Chelsea on Monday sounds like another tactic. I'm not surprised Reims have lined up their next manager and said he's leaving this summer even though nothing's official. If any Sunderland manager was obviously angling for other jobs elsewhere, we'd be royally p***ed off. I think he'd jump ship quicker that Alex Neil
This season has been disappointing compared to last, but we have massive interest in a lot of our players, which indicates that model is working (more or less) and we're progressing.
In fairness, getting the right manager and signing a good striker are both tricky. MUFC haven't managed the first one since Ferguson left, and way back when, he was a cat's whisker away from being sacked before he came very good. Diego Forlan couldn't hit a barn door at Man U, but was brilliant everywhere else. Ross Stewart was an underwhelming signing, but after half a season he got into top gear. Speakman has to be bang at the top of his game this summer in these 2 areas.
Sorry you missed out on limited shirt - 1,992 was always going to be way too low (not sure if that's total or per item) based on fan interest. 5000 would have been a better option, which would still justify the limited tag, but give more a fans a chance. Cheers. Jim

SAFC 2 Millwall 2. Nine goals in next three games. As you say Wayne, why change a winning team (when nothing worked before)? It would be good to see Gardiner, Spellman and Watson from the under-21’s on the bench / getting a run out.

MD isn't in for the job and has said he doesn't want it 😮 all the speculation about who is going to be appointed is becoming boring and so repetitive and some of the names you've mentioned are way out of our price range and wages and some of them have just been sacked from their jobs as they couldn't improve their old sides records so would u want to employ someone whose motivational skills are lacking !!!!😮

I personally think it's either gonna be a draw or a win for us, away from home I can't really see Millwall going for it so it'll be a case of can we break them down, hopefully we can and also I hope we change formation for this game, yes I know we've been keeping clean sheets lately but at home against a side like Millwall u want to be playing on the front foot, not sitting back and playing on the counter, against the top sides in this division I completely understand it but against the lesser sides or sides around us we need to be more positive in our approach, so for me it has to be a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-3-3
Good shout mate. Early goal will be key I think. The longer it goes the more they grow in confidence and we get more nervy. We should be experimenting with different things I guess in preparation for next season.

Yes I just about got one. I’ve got the jacket and a shirt. I tried on my phone. It was crashing all the time and then I went on my wife’s phone and then about 5/10 minutes I waited and then I got one. I’ve got the jacket and the shirt, but people who sells it on eBay Sad bastards sorry to swear but they are you don’t call them Sunderland fans I bet you did not even Sunderland fans people, but it’s typical Sunderland you should know that but I was very lucky. I did get it very lucky but I felt sorry for the people who didn’t get it and they should’ve had more stock in the shop but you knew they knew, they would go like hotcakes everyone knew that and they should’ve had more stock in. I’m very lucky I’ve got the shirt and the jacket very lucky and I usually wear large but they said a size bigger and then I got excel and that just about the shirt the jacket spot on I’ve got that XL but the shirt I got that XL and it was just about fits perfectly, but I don’t call them fans and then they put it on eBay for £200 £300 and the club can’t do about candy but I feel sorry for the fancy didn’t get any

I'm going for a Sunderland 2-1 win. Why they've made the merch a limited edition is beyond me, they could have made tens of thousands and would have sold them all and made a decent profit. All real Sunderland supporters, then, would have been able to wear them with pride. The club really is a shambles at the moment. HWTL.

They’ll probably say they couldn’t find the right man and they’ll probably give it to Mike Dodds but to me I think they’ll give the job to a manager who is out of a job because I don’t wanna pay compensation but they get average players average manager because they don’t wanna pay compensation and they don’t wanna spend money on good playersand be manager out of if he’s out of a job then can we get him in earlier then but it’s a big summer for Sunderland football club
