    You said you glued the bases to the glass art but then how do you hang it on the wall ?

    • @LisaVogtglassartist
      @LisaVogtglassartist  ปีที่แล้ว

      If it is a piece I want to hang on the wall I'll use E6000 glue and a saw tooth hanger. Simply glue the sides of the hanger onto the glass where you want it and let it dry.

    I love your videos, Lisa! These are all wonderful ideas but I especially like the wavy mold. I have a Skutt firebox 14 and I'm wondering if you know where I can purchase a small wavy mold similar to your large one.

    After you adhere the wave to your art...for mounting on the wall...I still don't understand what you use to hang the piece?

    Hi
    Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
    I wondered if you could answer a quick question.
    What glue do you use to fix the two together as there must be quite a strain on the pieces on the wall? Appreciate your advise. Thanks Suzanne

      This is similar to it but you can find a multitude of molds on the bullseye website.

    Lisa, how do you cut the fiberboard that you slumped the base over? Does a regular hack or hand saw do it? (I am reluctant to get a power saw. Not enough room.)

    • @LisaVogtglassartist
      @LisaVogtglassartist  5 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I used a single edge razor blade or sheet rock knife/carpet knife :)

    Do you have to fire the steel roofing material before you use it?

    • @LisaVogtglassartist
      @LisaVogtglassartist  ปีที่แล้ว

      yes, to burn off the oil and season it so the primer sticks better.

    • @susandees474

      @@LisaVogtglassartist... at what temperature and for how long? MIne has rust on it.
      Do I have to sand that off first? or will it burn off in the kiln

    • @LisaVogtglassartist
      @LisaVogtglassartist  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@susandees474 With rust it's best to sand it off first so it doesn't stick to or ruin your glass and for seasoning a steel mold you bring it up to 1365F :)

    Do you use epoxy glue? Silicon?
