Someone @ nüCamp is really on the ball with excellent upgrades, namely, the cassette toilet, increased size of diamond plate storage area on the tongue and MOST of all the options to set up just one side of the bed so the table can be left in place. That is the way beds should be designed in all Travel Trailers. Setting up just one side of the bed is going to win over a lot of buying customers, for sure. Way TOO MANY RV have too much space allocated to the queen size beds when just a twin size bed may be all that is wanted/needed. I'll bet a shiny dime you would love to have a cassette toilet in your T@B400. Question is would Kendrick allow you to use it?
The clamshell has always spoke to me, I'm excited! I know my 4runner would tow it but thinking of switching to a Tacoma for the extra 1400 lbs towing. Great video!
Great review! I think the outdoor kitchen makes most sense in a small teardrop trailer. I’m curious if the clamshell, when in open position, has a seal that keeps out the rain between the clamshell and the body of the RV?
@@MandyLea This is not the case in the CS-S. It’s narrower (58”) than the 320 S bed because of the kitchen at the back. Most adults would need to bend their knees to sleep north to south.
In this video she pulls the shower head up, no problem. Mine doesn't want to move. I can't find any buttons or levers to push. What am I missing here? Thanks
@@ubergigglefritz This is the main reason I can’t quite decide which model to get. I really like the outdoor kitchen and all the extra storage space, but since I’ll be working while traveling it would be nice to be able to leave part of the bed set up and have the table up at the same time to use as a workstation. Don’t really want to sleep all scrunched up though . . .
Thanks I'm torn between the two The S and this one I do like cooking outside with my 2018 Tag Outback XL But cooking inside during bad weather is a plus also. Plus I have to check out the difference in price$$$
A lot of people with the clamshell have some options inside to just plug in - coffee pot, hot plate, even a microwave (if opt out of the outside one), etc...
Love the features on this one! Is it not a cassette toilet? I don't believe chips or anything other than waste goes in the black 'tank' to make it composting.
Not a big deal. If you really want to boondock, upgrade to lithium, get an inverter, go solar, and you are completely independent. Plus you will always have at least one cooler in the truck, or on the front rack.
In new t@b 400 can we have cassette toilet in original bed with top fridge and got have off road tires and DVD player with Bluetooth please 🤓🤓🤓👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hi Mandy! I love the outdoor kitchen of the T@B clamshell! I also love that there is a space inside (If there's electric at the campsite) to make coffee and cook in a crockpot or electric small appliance. That's a nice bonus... My husband just pointed out that the way the pass through cabinet doors open into the kitchen, prevents anyone from opening them from the inside when the kitchen hatch is closed. With the Vistabule teardrop, the pass through cabinet doors are sliders... with screens... making it super efficient. Maybe in the future, nüCamp can design the doors this way. th-cam.com/video/Lx0CBHruDv4/w-d-xo.html Thanks for the great T@B tour! ~ Maria
@@ubergigglefritz Ps. We LOVE our T@Gxl... the Vistabule is an amazing teardrop, but much more expensive than the T@G ... it almost prices higher than the T@B! nüCamp's teardrops come standard with many of the things that are considered "extras" in the Vistabule.
This Has to be my favorite model of all of them!!
Get it!
Thanks for another great video, Mandy! Stay safe, and thanks again!
Thanks for watching!
We have to 2018 model. I added 200 w solar, lithium, inverter. Love it!
That's an awesome upgrade!
This is my dream camper!
:) A beautiful dream! Hope you can make it a reality!
We ordered ours!!! Delivery around Feb.!!
Woohoo! I know you'll love it!
How well does the Tacoma tow the Tab on inclines or mountain passes?

I’m excited about this 1❤️
Hope you can snag one!

I love this model!!!. Great review.
Thank you so much!
Thanks for posting this, I've been waiting for the CS-S update and hoping it would mimic what they changed on the 2021 320 S. Ordering one soon!
Mandy, where can we find this trailer, I looked for a link in your video and didn’t see one. Ty
Any news on the revised 650 truck camper?
When both beds are made up do you sleep North /south ? Thank you
I've seen people sleep both ways... the bed is almost square!
@@MandyLea This is not the case in the CS-S. It’s narrower (58”) than the 320 S bed because of the kitchen at the back. Most adults would need to bend their knees to sleep north to south.
Looks good 👍
Thanks!

Mandy? What size is the bed?
The clamshell bed is a little smaller than in the regular S model. In the CS is is 58"x71"
@@MandyLea So if you only set up half, it's only 58" long? =( I've read that's people's main complaint about the clamshell is the bed is too small. =(

Wow! Very impressed. Thank you.
Maybe I missed it, but does the cs-s come in a boonedock model?
Yes but typically dealers don't have them on the lots, so you might have to special order it.
Thanks 😊
Thank you
You're welcome Tommy!

This is the one I want
Not a bad choice! Go get it ;)
What is the price of this model?
I ranges quite a bit depending on the options and your local dealer... you can find your closest dealer at www.nucamprv.com
Suspension shocks for off road tires will be nice 👌
Maybe something you could add after-market?
These are the best upgrades they have done yet. I'm curious what the dimensions of the wet bath are. Thanks for the tour.
I agreee! Such great improvements
Love the features on this one! Is it not a cassette toilet? I don't believe chips or anything other than waste goes in the black 'tank' to make it composting.
You are right! I was in a rush and misspoke in the video, eek! 5 gallon cassette.
This is exactly what I want, except that a 3-way refrigerator is not available, even as an option, and that's a deal breaker.
I know what you mean, but they do have a new 2-way that apparently is VERY efficient. I haven't tried it though.

Is it composting or cassette toilet?
Cassette toilet
Yes, Cassette. 5 Gallon Black water.
What makes the 2021 T@B CS-S weigh more than the 2020 version?
No A/C?
Do you know if anyone has put a wood burning stove in a Tab?
Never seen it in a tab. They are so small I think a stove might heat you out! I've seen that in other larger RVs.
In new t@b 400 can we have cassette toilet in original bed with top fridge and got have off road tires and DVD player with Bluetooth please 🤓🤓🤓👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I love all of these ideas! I hope they listen!
That's a cassette toilet and not composting, right?
Yes, cassette. 5 gallon black water tank.
What do you mean composing toilet,? You mean cassette toilet... You have both terms in the video
I caught that too. I was expecting Mandy to show a composting toilet system.
It was a slip of the tongue. It's a Cassette Toilet👏
Hmmm, I think I would prefer the black tank toilet. Not sure since I've never had one but I really much prefer the look of the previous years.
got a 2018 Jeep Renegade that only tows a total of 2000 lbs...need something close to 1500 or 1600 max dry weight :/
Maybe take a look at the smaller version, the T@G.
Nice!
Thanks!
I wish there was a composting option
You could always bring a bucket and some sawdust.
hey guys stay safe and healthy fun vid
Back atcha! Thanks!
