Never thought I'd say this, but it actually sounds better on the Genesis. Odd, considering almost every other track sounds better in the arcade version.
I prefer the whole soundtrack on Mega Drive though some tracks are close. But overall the arrangements are better in the console game. btw it's far from the only soundtrack that I prefer on Mega Drive compared to its arcade counterpart as I can name plenty of others such as Midnight Resistance, Zero Wing, Twin Cobra and many more... but in some others cases, the arcade original music remains the best, it depends. I even did a playlist about this, "VGM comparisons", feel free to check it out! :)
Hey, im thinking... What if I add this to my comic series? I dont know, I imagine one of the protagonists being kidnapped or something by a group of (very strong) bad guys that masterized fighting so the other remaining protagonists go for the kidnapped one all the way to the final one idk lol
I like that they actually put a Weird Al song in the game.
What one
Eat it
They put “Fat” in this game, too.
TRIGGERED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This also has his other one : "Fat". 😂
Send for the man!

When your parents try to sleep but your dad gets the belt.
send in for the man!
If only the Mega Drive version could even come close to the gameplay of this game.
SEND FOR THE MAN!
this legit sounds like a midi
True. I can recognize those snares anywhere!
I mean, the arcades used VGM. Not midi. But it could be designed to sound like midi, which it does. The drums do have a midi aesthetic to them tho.
@@shay_playz they don't use VGM either
and going back they probably sampled a Roland R-8 for the drums
3 people couldn't BEAT IT!
Colten The Moonwalker Teen Wow, that was a really clever joke man!
They are 6 now I told them all to BEAT IT!
@@Hasoon-os4id And now we will *never know* how many did BEAT IT!

Buddy of mine built an arcade cabinet and shoved a bunch of games on a raspberry pi we beat this game in one sitting
i have that game on my pc
If any video arcade game desirves to have an arcade1up update, I have no doubt that it's this one.
eat it
well everyone here pretty much still plays this on pc is what im saying.
@cj397
lame dude! id use to play this in at flackyjacks arcade room...you can still find this in arcades somewhere? just look for it!
Galloping Ghost Arcade in Brookfield, IL has this game. It's a Chicago suburb.
There is one at Tappers in Indy
Botchmania
The drums sound off
That's because there was an extra beat added on every other measure
I prefer the genesis version
