Thanks for your genuine review. Mahindra has recently launched Scorpio N in Australia. I live here. I was exploring reviews got your video. If such things happen here yahan Tala pad jayega Mahindra k showroom me. If someone went to court here. Here courts are very quick for consumer complaints.
1) Note all incident dates and take video of the issue when it is happening, if possible. 2) Whenever you visit the service centre, take photo of job card for proof of issue reported. And while leaving service centre take in written from them that no issue found in car or the issue is fixed by service centre. 3) keep a log of above proofs, they will come in handy if this issue snowballs into some thing big. 4) for petrol tank emptied by service centre. While leaving car, take a photo of mid in front of SA. Show him petrol level and mileage. Ask him if petrol level drops considerably they will have to top up. Inko line pe laane ke liye proofs ke saath chalna jaroori hai.
You guys saved my money, last week I visited and booked xuv700 and after watching your videos I cancelled my booking. This is very honest channel, kudos to your team. 20 lakh or even a 1 lakh is all hard earned money, there are making us fool w.r.t make in India product. Bhai its a throttle body issue. I face this in Tata tigor from day one. After 5 years Tata changed the trottle body and oxizen sensor. Now as of now running good.
Hi Kushik Ji & Mohit ji, Take this issue directly to Anand Mahindra, tweet him & attach the vedio also. Dealer will come running to your house. Instead of selling it, you change the ECM with your own expenses. Coz, there are no other Full Sized SUV’s in that segment. Next is only Fortuner, which is not Value for Money. MG is China made & very week in structure. In M&M always prefer old dealers only. I used Bolero 4 Years, Xuv 500 - 5 Years, Thar 9 Years & Now Scorpio S6+ Model, since 8 years (done 1 Lakh KM) My Tip: Never, ever buy M&M Vehicles immediately when newly launched, M&M, R&D is only based on Customers feedback & Issues. They will Definitely release another facelift with all the teething problems solved, Shortly. Buy only after 1.5 or 2 Years. 🔱
I faced this same issue with XYLO. I faced lot of issues with Tata car also. I never recommend to anyone to purchase these two brands. Even there no one will ask you to solve your queries. Have bad experience after sale service. I just purchased New facelift of MG and happy with their hospitality. Always they are asking, I am happy with car or not or do I have any issue. If yes they ready to resolve
Pls don't buy Mahindra.. airbags dint open after big collision too. mahindra is improved a LOT it is being designed in Chennai which is good still. A word of caution.

Engine malfunction light (orange color ) agaya toh bahat tensn hojati hai and ECM is the most useful part of the car as important as Engine. It can command the engine also to stop. Same happened with my Dzire and miss fire happened and pickup low hogaya and 1 month showroom me raha and ECM change hua 😢. AND YES DON'T WASH OR SPRAY WATER IN ENGINE BAY, IT MAY HARM SENSORS 😮😢😢. BEWARE

A problem two wheeler mein hoti hai bhai (ECU) n car mein ECM engine control unit/module. A part hi kharab hoti hai change karene se gadi mast chalti hai. On short drive engine shuts down or looses pickup . When I purchased pulsar in2003 i faced the same problem n many mechanic did not about it in showroom. They kept service other parts. But a road side small mechanic changed that part n i ma using pulsar till now
Same thing happen with me it took 3days for me complete my journey if 10hrs show room mechanics did every possible service but problem didn't solve but during the trip this prblm happen luckily there was small roadside garage I show the owner cum mechanic after 1hr of inspection he said ur ECU has a problem which on cost something 300 to 400rs after replacement till date same issue never happenagain

Shiva Mahindra - ke baare me jo bhi bhai ne kaha hai ek ek baat sach hai ...I have also booked scorpio n from Shiva Mahindra Ghaziabad ...and they have twisted the delivery period and delayed the delivery for 6 more month... the service and customer handling is 100% pathetic...
That's why I cancelled the plan to not to buy Mahindra and Tata because I know if mistakenly the vehicle is faulty they wont' even treat customers with Dignity.

I have used xuv500 for 11 years and done 2 lakh kilometers. Never faced any issue, any failure any kind of breakdown. Kis ek gadi me problem aane se company khrab nhi hojati, at the end it is a machine...
Try checking the fuse and battery. As low voltage causes this. I’ve had same issue in 2005 ford fusion. It’s a safety feature if car senses security breach it doesn’t let you accelerate.

For cars I prefer Toyota, Honda, Hyundai and Maruti which are quite reliable. I own a 2018 4th Generation Honda City in Chennai. Why buy Mahindra and Tata cars when better options are available?

If booking are high company will not look for proper testing. Company will focus only on delivery and then these types of problems are for sure. My suggestion will be look for a vehicle which is not launched recently ...because Indian car company will mainly focus on delivery and sales not on proper testing or customer experience

Ye software issue nahi hai... ECM खराब है... Faulty item. And they don't want to change the ECM kyunki वो सबसे mehenga part है car का... 26 lac की car मे, 4-5 lac का सिर्फ ECM ही होता है... Showroom doesn't want to incur the cost.

Nope, ECM issue. Car is getting into limp mode and check engine warning is coming. Tabhi sudden de-acceleration ho raha hai.

Avoid ADAS, sunroof, and all automatic features. Jitna jyaada features utna sensors utna risk. AND YES ONLY WITH A CLOTH WIPE THE ENGINE SECTION BUT NEVER SPRAY WATER, jitna sensors hain dikkat asakti hai.

Engine malfunction light (orange color ) agaya toh bahat tensn hojati hai and ECM is the most useful part of the car as important as Engine. It can command the engine also to stop.
Same happened with my Dzire and miss fire happened and pickup low hogaya and 1 month showroom me raha and ECM change hua 😢.
AND YES DON'T WASH OR SPRAY WATER IN ENGINE BAY, IT MAY HARM SENSORS 😮😢😢. BEWARE

A problem two wheeler mein hoti hai bhai (ECU) n car mein ECM engine control unit/module. A part hi kharab hoti hai change karene se gadi mast chalti hai.
On short drive engine shuts down or looses pickup . When I purchased pulsar in2003 i faced the same problem n many mechanic did not about it in showroom. They kept service other parts. But a road side small mechanic changed that part n i ma using pulsar till now
Same thing happen with me it took 3days for me complete my journey if 10hrs show room mechanics did every possible service but problem didn't solve but during the trip this prblm happen luckily there was small roadside garage I show the owner cum mechanic after 1hr of inspection he said ur ECU has a problem which on cost something 300 to 400rs after replacement till date same issue never happenagain

I'm also facing the same issues in Z4 Petrol MT. It has happened twice in last 2 months. No resolution from Mahindra. Service center is clueless.

Software issue hai same happened with my Toyota etios n it was solved after software update note update was done by Toyota employee but in mayapuri

Try checking the fuse and battery. As low voltage causes this. I’ve had same issue in 2005 ford fusion. It’s a safety feature if car senses security breach it doesn’t let you accelerate.

If booking are high company will not look for proper testing. Company will focus only on delivery and then these types of problems are for sure. My suggestion will be look for a vehicle which is not launched recently ...because Indian car company will mainly focus on delivery and sales not on proper testing or customer experience

Mahindra don’t offer service at all the way others do. Better to avoid Mahindra car even I have been cheated by them. Mahindra couldn’t change the HP name that was a mistaken by them only . Since last 1 month following up with them 😢
Ye software issue nahi hai... ECM खराब है... Faulty item. And they don't want to change the ECM kyunki वो सबसे mehenga part है car का... 26 lac की car मे, 4-5 lac का सिर्फ ECM ही होता है... Showroom doesn't want to incur the cost.

Mai booking cancel karwana chahta hun toh 10% deduction kar rahe meri booking amount mai . Ye toh besharmi ki had hai . Jab ye apna commitment poora nahi kar paa rahe toh kis baat ka deduction ?
