What i was trying to say is that, why would he choose bottom against a guy who can ride him for almost a whole period in this case it was almost two periods
Well he almost got up in the first period so i feel like he had some confidence in the decision to go down, clearly he was wrong.
Jose Rodriguez likely because he knew he was going to lose at that point, so he might as well get some practice on bottom against lee to prepare for March rather than just go neutral and get no where.
Spencer Lee is the next 4x National Champion.

Dan King Yianni can’t now, he already redshirted, & now just his Olympic Redshirt. So the best he can do now if 3X(unless the NCAA permits him another year of eligibility).

With the BS that happened to Zahid, I think it’s safe to say that as long as Lee does what he does he should be the Hodge winner. Can’t take it for granted though. May have been slightly gassed at the end given he barely goes into the 3rd period.

Agreed the only competition is Nick Lee, but as long as Spencer continues like this it should clearly be him.
Zahid was the hodge winner with how Spencer dropped out of tournaments and avoiding some matches. Nick lee definitely looks like a option with him dominating 141

Imagine the mental games that come with wrestling Lee, knowing you are bout to get bullied for 6 minutes straight (if you dont get pinned right away of course).
You can tell the Spencer Lee hasn’t gone the distance to many times this year… That last takedown looked like was just tired... but it doesn’t matter when you go up by eight in the first two
Yeah but if he doesn’t tilt Piccininni two times constantly ride him all match then he’s probably not as gassed. He’s also probably not sitting on a big lead either so which would you rather have? A major where you’re winded at the end or you got a lot left in the tank but could possibly lose in a last second takedown if the match is close?

I've watched college wrestling for over a year now and just today I cleared this misconception. Big L
No, that's the last thing they should do. They could make a rule where once you get your minute of riding time the ref stops it and then you just reset in neutral. Or just get rid of riding time and go to freestyle rules. Wrestlers on their feet is the most entertaining.
They should not give rising time points at all and start calling stalling on some of these guys that cant turn somebody in 2 minutes

I met an exgirlfriend of Spencer Lee who told me she was able to beat him in wrestling when they were on the bed together. I therefore challenged her to a wrestling match and beat her easily. That means I'm an NCAA champ.

This match is the main reason I want Techs worth more than pins. Pins can accidentally happen, you can’t accidental major or tech someone. It’s pure I’m better than you as Lee is showing here. He got caught last year and this one wasn’t even close.

Why did they stop the match in the first period when lee got hit with stalling?? That could of been a 2 point move for piccini and then the 2 near fall points were just not their
when the top man gets hit for stalling, the rule requires a stoppage and reset from referee's position.

The refs were horrible! Lee stalled a lot. And they gave him 2 nearfall that shouldn't had been. Nobody I better than lee for a round and a half though
Clearly plausible enough for them to not challenge it. It was very close and even challenged prob woulda been upheld. And u cant really say someone who was 9 points up was stalling my guy. It's called smart wrestling
