@@Haida_Art_Jordon_S do you have an outlet for your work?
@@Sheepdog1314 I usually sell directly to customers lately. Galleries don’t want to commit to me working towards doing my own web gallery or site. But I do ship myself and I have PayPal or etransfer if your in Canada
Thanks for uploading this!
RLP3 glad you found it....hope my channel catches on. There will be more exciting projects coming in the future
@@Haida_Art_Jordon_S Well, I do hope you kerp posting . I really want to learn to carve in Hsida style but living on the East Coast, I don't have anyone nearby to learn from. Posts such as this are a good way to learn.
@@Haida_Art_Jordon_S Do you think maybe you could do like a series dometime on step by step carving model totem pole?
RLP3 I’ll make a small pole sometime. I can’t say I can teach you step by step as it is an art form belonging to the people and there are a lot of pending lawsuits dealing with cultural appropriation. It’s an incredibly small market and knockoff are flooding the markets. But if you have any cultural affiliations learning the stories and turning them into wood creations is what our world needs more of. I’d love to see more art from all cultures and maybe learn new or common stories we can each relate to
