New Renault Mégane Bose Edition | Details and Driving

- The car shown in this video is the all-new 2016 Renault Mégane hatchback.
The new Mégane is now more refined, packed with technology and, at least in our opinion, very good looking as well.
We drove the "Bose Edition" model and it comes with lots of standard equipment: new R-Link 2 infotainment system with sat-nav, full LED headlights, Bose sound system, ambient lightning, driver's seat with massage function, just to mention a few of them.
Our test car was equipped with the 1.2l TCe turbocharged engine, which produces 130 hp, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. A 7-speed EDC dual-clutch gearbox is also available.
The top of the range Mégane GT is equipped with a 1.6l Tce turbo engine that produces 205 hp. The hot RS version will follow in 2017.

Just today I ordered me a brand new 2018 Mégane Bose Edition :)
It will be my first automatic car as well (TCE 130 EDC), I'm so excited!

It's actually because of this detailed video that I decided to go to the dealership to look at the car in real life.

It's been six months now since I picked up the car from the dealership, and it's still a joy to drive it!
The Sports-mode is awesome for overtaking/accelerating. :p
@@o0L4nc3r0o Can you give more feedback in 2021 please? I'm close to buying Clio V with the same setup, TCE 130 and EDC, but not sure how reliable that EDC is and is it the same one as in Megane

What's your opinion on the 1.2l TCe? Enough torque?
Jérémi Sortino the 1.2 TCe doesn't have a lot of torque to be honest (205 Nm) but the nice thing about it is that all the torque is available from 2000 rpm, so it's really pleasant and relaxing to drive at low revs.
Thanks for your aswer! Saturday I will test the TCe 130. I am curious how this one drives compared with my older 1.5 dCi Mégane.
hey how is the petrol consumption? i have heard that it is quit bad ? what do you thinK?
Not much different to the Signature edition I have and the Bose system I have in that. Although on the Bose edition, the wheels are smaller.
