At 1:35 in the video, that is Wiley!! He was our guide on the trip I just finished. A unique adventure and an awesome time!! I highly recommend Western River Expeditions for you Grand Canyon adventure.
You left out the part where some other companies do the whole canyon and you leave after Lava Falls. I've done the whole canyon 3 times using two companies. The first trip we took a jet boat to South Cove on Lake Mead as the lake level was high enough before Pierce Ferry Rapid formed. Are there differences in companies? Yes but it's subtle things. Unless someone from your company runs a trip with the competition you really don't know if you are doing it better or not. My former employer had this inbreeding mentality and at times it hurt us. Your prices are a bit higher than the some of the competition so that's why I never booked a trip with Western. :)PS, why no story on the website about how the company got started?
