Hah... never knew before... it's Clara's theme, disguised by the 7th b/w the 3rd and 4th note of the opening 5 note theme...

That’s an interesting take, do you think the first Re in the 4th measure of the cello is the last note of the theme? As far as I know, the theme should be LaLaSolFaMiRe, as it was written in his 3 rd piano sonata.
