  • The concept of how one sits on the carriage is treated as kind of a side note by most people (I was one of those people once.) But there's a lot to be gained by making some very simple adjustments to how you're using your body when you drive your horse.

    This is so helpful.
I have been driving for less than a year. I am driving with a group for disabled drivers. I have hypermobility syndrome
Which means I have poor proprioception - the sense most people take for granted - knowing where my body is in space. So going over this so thoroughly is great

Interesting! There's an offshoot of Centered Riding called "Centered Driving" that teaches the importance of driver position, a very similar idea.
    Subbed.

    Hi … 2 questions...
Your hands are getting a little noisy, what does this mean ?
Second …. Why do you not post any of your classes on-line, is because you don't wish to give any of your tips away for free ?
    Thanks from the UK.
