The bugs were not part of the ritual... that was spontaneous and really a unique experience! Have you ever tried those?! Datu said it was a good sign for planting bananas! Very cool!
I did actualy tried eating those bugs when I was a young boy. I saw an old man sitting near a light bulb while drinking shoktong. And the bugs are the pulutan. So I tried eating atleast 3 bugs.

Bret Maverick I grew up in Mindanao.I miss the tribes in the Philippines especially the Mandayas in Davao. I'll be following your vids. More power to the Fighter Boys.
Mr. William is such a great guy for doing that for his staff. Not all businessmen especially foreigners could do that. Not to mention he is super gwapo. Thanks for featuring Eiffel Kubo, Kulas and for the info about the place.
@@BecomingFilipino Eiffel Kubo is back side of my wife's parent's house. We dine there whenever I go home for vacation and it's such a nice place. Peaceful and a good place to stay.

Amazing video kulas! I hope the DOT gives attention to #fighterboys Mindanao Adventures. This is something, you guys are helping the department to promote Mindanao for FREE! You change people's perception on how safe it is. I hope through these videos more filipinos and foreigners visit Mindanao despite of Martial Law. Keep doing it Kulas and the rest of the figtherboys. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
The soil artwork you showed was beautiful! It looks like such an amazing place to stay. Your drone shots are absolutely stunning. What you said about getting to know other people and their customs and culture is so true, man. That's what I love most about what you and the rest of the Fighter Boys do. The more you learn about other people, the more aware you become of your similarities rather than your differences. The ritual involving the spirits sounds really beautiful. And I LOVE the music you used. It fits so perfectly!
Another gem by director Kyle Jennerman. The score beginning at 12:20 was impeccable, perfect to the setting and it closed the episode out endearingly. Mike delivered his thoughts on the ceremony (8:00) with heart. Kudos!
Very cool video Kulas, so informative. Ingon ana jud if you happen to visit a tribe here in the Philippines, duna mga rituals and as respect because we visit their place mo follow na lang sad. I love to feel the rain when i am in the mountain side. So cool and the after effect is so nice to the body.........

Thanks for spreading the positive vibes guys. Even gloomy, rainy days can’t stop the Fighter boys. Most likely those are termites, but I can’t be exactly sure.
Last time I was in the Philippines, it rained real hard. I literally ran up and down the streets around the neighborhood - splashing around like a little kid. The locals were laughing at me but it was so joyful for some reason. I miss home.
One very interesting vlog! I don't know anybody else who does it as good as you do. You're born to do this. Watching your vlogs feels like I'm there savouring your experiences too. Thank you! More, more, more power to you
