After watching this reaction I am not really sure what you thought of the video but it seems you were positively surprised by the music :) I think the video is a really nice allegory on the human incapability to live self-sufficiant and their need to believe in something bigger then themselves (be it a religion, an ideology or a leader). If we would 'pull the plug' on any type of propaganda, would we be able to think for ourselves or simply freeze/turn into clay? The video borrows a lot of imagery from dystopian novels and movies and for me, when I'm watching it, I see Brave new World battling Heroes and Villains. It's such a cool idea wrapped up in such a 'simple' video that manages to argue for both sides while leaving the conclusion to the viewer. [not sure how far off I am with this but that's what I think about watching this video] Nice reaction and very cool request! I enjoyed this a lot ^^
Ahah thanks for the reaction, and actually i'm a therapist XD Like i really am a psychologist ^^ i can't listen to only black or death metal but the orchestral, the symphonic aspect of this band makes this wonderful to me. I love the obscur forces being balanced by the light of the orchestra (sorry for my english, i'm french ^^). All the music and the symphonic composition are created by the guitarist (with the dreadlocks). They made a unique live show with a full orchestra and choir, and it was great. If you wanna hear one song of it you can try "Dogma of Prometheus" th-cam.com/video/0X2H922xUi8/w-d-xo.html Thanks again, its a great pleasure to make you discover one of my favorite band, and i'm glad you liked it ^^ The second band i love is Carach Angren. A symphonic black horror metal band (the singer is very theatrical and love telling stories about ghost essentially and the lyrics are very understandable). You can try : Charles Francis Coghlan : th-cam.com/video/REfg3XDWxlU/w-d-xo.html See you for another suggestion ;-)
Damn well you should talk to yourself in the mirror :) aha I'm just playing! Glad you enjoyed it! They gave off a interesting but very nice atmosphere in their song! Without the music video I majorly enjoyed that :) Thanks for you suggestion! You should totally come join us on Discord! We would love to have you there! Much love!
That music video is so good. One of their bests for sure. Septicflesh are a Greek Symphonic Death Metal band that started in 1990 (were on hiatus from 2003-2007) and they did a full orchestrated live in Mexico in 2019 which I think is insane :). Did you notice the singer (Spiros Antoniou) is also the bassist? Not very common but pretty dope. He only does harsh vocals (clean parts are sung by Sotiris Vayenas) and I am not sure but I don't think I've ever heard him doing a pig squeal 🤔 But I'm also not too familiar with their entire discography.
Krimh is one of my favorite drummers in the whole world!
Seems pretty good! Not my favourite but definitely very talented!
