- Defence Minister Bill Blair holds a news conference with his Latvian counterpart Andris Sprūds in Riga. He announces several measures aimed at strengthening Canada’s military presence in Latvia, including the deployment of four Griffon helicopters in 2024.
Minister Blair is on a four-day visit to Latvia and Poland, where he will meet with officials and visit Canadian Armed Forces members.
