Fully zoomed out is 24mm which is wide angle. It is not what the user can see, it looks 2 to 4 times further away than it is. You have to use half the zoom to get the same perspective as the user.
Impressive camera. This clip also shows the inherent problems that zoom has when trying to shoot an object thru a 'dirty' atmosphere! Heat waves will kill a zoom lens more often than jiggle will and will limit the amount of zoom you can use to get an acceptable picture. Jiggle you can eliminate... heat waves you cannot.
Did you add any lens? when am trying to zoom it doesnt went good here you showing kilometrs far objects but when am trying it snaps only millimeter far objects could you please help me with that by showing your camera zoom settings
You did all this photography free-standing? That's crazy! Takes very steady hands to do that. You should buy a decent, swivable tripod as this will make you work look way more professional. I wouldn't leave home without mine if I know I'll be using my zoom that day. I have the old P-500 with only a 36x zoom. Being able to see farther than most people can with the best of binoculars is really cool. Never gets old to see people so far away they have no idea they are being watched.
yep, this whole video is free hand, maybe couple shots i'm leaning, but i cannot take full credit, the built in vibration reduction software is really really good, its 30% me 70% camera
OMG I should take this camera to my friends condo downtown! I have about 50 buildings that we seen people in the morning wake up in different clothes or none! Maybe a beach soon?
Oh, and yes, it sort of detracts to have that annoying whirring noise as you work the telephoto. But then, too, it add authenticity to your work which lends to the process of the zoom effect. I think more annoying than this is the loud clicks while switching buttons on the camera - which could be silent touch buttons if the engineers perfected their craft. How much did this camera set you back, friend?
The zoom noise can be annoying sometimes, can't really get rid of that though, unless i mute and add music or have an extra mic away from the camera. For me at the time it cost 430 pounds which is around 509 euros or 556 us dollars, it is a little expensive but nothing compared to a full sensor camera, i would love one of those some day!
Like I said - don't get bogged down with the zoom noise. You can mute this or voiceover this with speech or music and it's not big deal. I've had friends with drone copters than go through the same process. You should hear how loud those are on camera - YIKES!
Great camera. Just got the p900. Ready to get a feature of the half moon during the day with blue background. If the Moon is 250,000 miles out in the darkness of space... How is it possible for there to be blue sky behind it?
The ultimate pervert camera.
Lol I feel the same
I wouldn't even take any photos . I'd just zoom everything
Karl 355 same
Those heat waves tho so makes it look wobbly.
You cut from clip to clip way too fast. You need to leave the fully zoomed out clip up longer to show some perspective.
appreciate the comment, will do in future thanks

The P900 is a love affair really. :)

evil zoom
Cool vid Man but my Nikon B700 has 1440mm and 4K 20MP
Nothing can beat the eye!!
Do you recommend that camera?
i do, i love it! can't stop using it! its a beast
I wonder if it would still be wobbly on a tripod untouched
sometimes, depends on weather, wind, vibrations etc
For that excellent camera you need an excellent tripod, that way you stop shaking your hand!!
I have a P 900 the best in scoping and picture taking.
O m. G
Use a tripod, it will help your videos from shaky
I was the 135,000 View
Cool want this camera .l.l. Shame it’s as much as a god damn decent damn pc
No 4K....now New Panasonic LUMIX FZ 80/82 has !

If the Moon is 250,000 miles out in the darkness of space...
How is it possible for there to be blue sky behind it?
Because the blue sky is just an illusion caused by the sun's light passing through our atmosphere.
Is this camera can find me a girl near me?
Yes, and it can just as well find you a restraining order
Sebastião Mendonça lol
My flip phone can do that too
I could do that with my phone 😏
Huawei P30?
amazing
