Yes, India is producing large amount of engineers. There are lot of people who are getting a degree of btech, but if you have quality ,if you are hard working, you will definitely notch your place in top ranks in JEE, and engineers from top quality colleges has a far bright future than expected. Its not that whole engineering arena is dumb!

The value of an engineer is not cheap sir...The cheapness comes from the mushrooming of engineering institutes and skill skewed engineers...Still engineers are the highest earning professionals ...Only condition is that you should have great command on your coding or data analysis skills....
Not every engineer is a coder he is a very experienced man when he says something it means something
It definitely means something..But you cannot give sweeping comments that's the only thing... if you work with the right kind of mindset and skillset in a particular field of engineering you can achieve greater heights... Only thing it takes is regular updation of your skills as it is a dynamic world which keeps changing every second...
Yash Anand truely said I have seen engineers who were average at the start of the career but by hard work and massive experience they have achieved a lot like GM post .So if you work hard+ Smart in industry you can achieve a lot

I agree to the point that CA gets more money if compared to average salary of engineer, but that's because of the number of Engineers getting passed out every year. Quantity will degrade the quality and of-course the money as well. Also, it's a very generic statement that Engineers do technician type of work which is not at all true.
Yes bro but 90 to 95% engg. Doing technician job at starting point i mean they are not getting on desired post.

Do you know how an engineer represent himself in front of companies and these companies demand a lot of skills which can't be fulfilled by a technician. Please note I am not saying anyone work is high or low. It's just that engineer's work require more skills.
An Engineer with ATKT and drops will do technician jobs but not those who have passed through out with a distinction!!! ✌️
@@abhishek90803 Being an engineer i am saying this there are lots of my friends , they are doing job of 10 to 12k salay pm. On a lower post though they are through out paas with 8 or more cpi . The main concen is govt is not maintaing the value of suppy demnad, they are allowing pvt. Institutes blindly. Thats why mostly all students got admission in engg. So that the quality and the value is on the bottom day by day.

I will disagree to the statement "engineers are only technicians", such statement would have been reality in 1980s and 1990s.
Now the condition is even worse
The issue is due to the huge number of skill lacking unqualified engineers who are the product of mushrooming of engineering colleges...Under employment is the bigger concern than unemployment...

Because they're doing engineering just for the sake of it. If you're doing something which you obviously didn't invest your hard work in don't expect greatness at the other end.
