    I’m glad to see the authorities finally captured notorious war criminal, Magi underscore number seven, and gave him three hours for his last words!! (I am so glad to hear Magi get interviewed)

    As a trapper Main I think I love these videos because everybody you bring on so much passion for their killer. Most of the people In this community have tons of general knowledge about everything but are not an expert in anything. So much to learn

      I know we ramble a lot but there are nuggets in there and honestly it's just nice to hear passion from DBD people it's not as common as you would think in the normal space

    Strongly in favor of reasonable acommodations in the form of client-side toggles for phobias in DbD. An audio filter for emetophobia involving Clown, Plague and Nemesis would just be so easy for how pervasive that change is, and top it off with a visual filter for Plague's vomit in the same toggle, and you've created a great accessibility option for 3 whole characters

      True and would love it as well I feel like those are the obvious ones I do think some are harder than others tho like Chucky and even like blight for an example those with a phobia of dolls and needles respectively

      @QueenofBrambles หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@thefakebanette3483 A toggle for Blight would also be relatively easy! Even if a client-side alternate animation is "too much," the needle model can me made invisible, which would make it just look like he's punching his arm instead
      Changing Chucky for pediophobia, though might be "unreasonable" since it would require changing up his model. However, after seeing the arachnophobia slider in Grounded, I'd still rather see them try.

      Once again my big thing has been I don't expect them to add even half these things but I would love to see them tried
      Also for Chucky in particular I'm not sure if that would violate anything on the legal side of the licensing deal since we know nothing about it's interworkings

    Hmmm I have a phobia of being attacked and dying, I definitely should force BHVR to accomodate me instead of just not playing the game.

    • @thefakebanette3483
      @thefakebanette3483  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think common phobias should have some form of a filter for them. The question does become at what point do we determine a common phobia
      A friend of mine has Mycophobia (fear of mushrooms) if they load into Toba they have to DC even things like one of Hags cosmetics causes it. I simple "basic" filter at the least for Killer skins is not something out of the question

      @@thefakebanette3483 It's okay to ask people to respect their own disabilities. If you're going to have a panic attack because of a video game, do yourself a favor and don't play it.
      It's fine to tell a photosensitive person to take care of themselves but people with severe phobias can't be asked to do the same? By all means, filters are great, but pushing that on BHVR without addressing the elephant in the room is more than a bit silly.

    • @thefakebanette3483
      @thefakebanette3483  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If someone has thalassophobia (like me) no they should not play something like Subnautica and I would not expect them to have a future so I can but that is a game built around that function
      But if someone has a fear of vomit or mushrooms that should not exempt them from playing a game that as those things in small amounts

    • @smugwib
      @smugwib หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@thefakebanette3483 I think that filters are a worthy addition and less harmful than things that are already included like Reshade and Discord (both of which I use)
      Making an unfortunate discovery and then avoiding the agitant is also a fine thing to ask of people.
      Imagine if Diabetics started policing the food served at resteraunts, or people with peanut allergies went after Skippy.

      the difference there is expectation someone with a fear of clowns does not know when they are going into a clown match unlike something like killer clowns which I would not want or expect them to add a filter for or fear of mushrooms into a Toba match
      Even stake houses have options for vegetarians the difference is you can still go to the restaurant and have other options it's not policing the food it's giving people options to avoid the food they can't eat at that restaurant while still allowing them to eat there
