The very first PGA Tour Tournament I ever attended was the old Bellsouth Classic and by this time he definitely not one of the longer hitters anymore but he, Steve Elkington, and a few others completely amazed me at their ability to make that little ball do whatever the hell they wanted it to off the tee. I specifically remember a dime sized wear spot dead in the center of both his and Elkington’s driver and 2 iron faces as those were the clubs they used off the tee the most. BTW these observations were made at this tournament during either the 1999 or 2000 season. Can’t remember which off the top of my head but I still have my pass put up somewhere as I got him, Elkington, Else, and several others to sign it. That tournament was also the first time I had ever seen the claw putting grip in use. I remember my dad and myself giving each other the old “what the hell look” as soon as we witnessed Chris DiMarco grip his putter for the first time but he didn’t miss inside of 15ft at all that day.

Ian Woosnam as well. Both long hitters, both won loads. I would take either swing.
Seen him in his prime in 1988 at a course in Australia, oh my could he hit a golf ball!
His swing was designed for 43" steel shafts and persimmon.
He seems very upright. Not a lot of knee bend but very stable.
He doesn't hover the club off the ground anymore the way he did in his prime. Wonder why.

If you take a look at Adam Scott swing and compare it to Greg's you'll see a lot of similarity. Adam's is more atheltic compared to Norman's but the finish is the same, the turn is the same as well.
More athletic compared to 60 year old Norman, but compared to Norman in his prime not even close.
