What Itachi fangirls and boys need to realize that buy hating Sasuke, you hate Itachi. Almost everything wrong with Sasuke is derived from Itachi's doing.

Itachi was trying to teach him how to be strong and was trying to keep him determined. He allowed Sasuke to win on their final battle. Sasuke instead of doing something good after learning that, he decided to destroy all Itachi had built. I don't hate Sasuke, I relate to him, in fact, but I'm just stating that.
Ƈåṧŧīɇł Çāṧ-Çāṧ Sūpɇrñåŧūråł I'll be honest and say that Itachi has a very twisted and cryptic way of delivering his "messages".
Just because he had goos intentions behind his actions, doesn't automatically make it Sasuke's fault for taking it the "wrong" way.
Itachi tortured an slaughtered his entire family and then tortured an eight year old. A friggin' eight year old. Couldn't just knock him out. Had to mind rape him.
Then, for some reason forgetting that no matter what he does, he is the primary influence on Sasuke. He's his older brother. He was his idol. And then, he became the object of his hatred.
And he only made Sasuke hate even more. Despite complaining about how his clan uses hatred to get stronger.
I know Itachi cared about Sasuke but he fucked him up. Big time.
When it all backfired, Itachi wasn't even shocked. He was just disappointed because I think somewhere along the line, he realized what he did was wrong. He realized that Sasuke is his fault.
And that's what bugs me about Itachi's fangirls. They all swoon over him and say everything he did was right when instead, everything he did was wrong and he admitted it.
I don't hate Itachi. He was an interesting characters. I hate his fans.
Edward Gil I don't disagree with you. You're right about Itachi and Sasuke was too young to understand what Itachi was trying to do and why. When I put myself in his shoes, I realize that I would hate my older sibling too if that were the case.
I'm saying that he had good intentions though, and that in the end, everything was sorted out.
About fangirls though, you know how they are. Sasuke fangirls hate Itachi for what he's done, Itachi fangirls hate Sasuke. They don't get the point of the anime, they just get obsessed with their favorited character.

Sasuke used to be my favorite character mainly because he was the only character that showed that when people like Danzo and Itachi keep doing what they're doing, there's gonna be some bad consequences.
I have a love hate relationship with this series, though.
The fact that everything sorted itself out at the end just urks me. It makes what Itachi did seem not so bad because in the end Sasuke came around. But honestly, Sasuke coming around was just nothing short of a miracle. With how much he was fucked up, I really couldn't see him turning good again. But I get it. The thing is, it's supposed to be Naruto who made Sasuke come around. And he did. Naruto did the impossible and fixed Danzo, Itachi, and their ancestors' mess. He ended the feud. It's what they were building up to, so I'm glad they did it because I had been watching since I was kid and really wanted Naruto and Sasuke to be friends again.
But my adult brain can't help but to sometimes call bullshit. Especially whenever Naruto praises Itachi and Obito as heroes.
