I think a diorama of Isuildor (if that’s how it’s spelt) taking up the broken shards of Narsil, defeating Sauron from the intro of Fellowship would be awesome. And yes I think a Shelob vs Sam would be awesome!
Good list. We are both on the same page with our #1 most wanted diorama, Samwise the Brave vs. Shelob. You are correct, he is the true hero of the story. The quest would have utterly failed without him. It's time for him to shine in polystone at his most heroic best, doing what not even the greatest of warriors throughout time had been able to do, get the better of Shelob. Hopefully we will see him as a Premium piece next year for the 20th anniversary of the ROTK. Unfortunately, we won't be seeing it as the next MC. Weta has already come out and said that the MC series is following the journey of Frodo and the Ring. So, I'm expecting, as well as many others, that it will be the scene of the destruction of the Ring at Sammath Naur as the next MC. But if not next year as a Premium piece, hopefully we will see Sam defeating Shelob as an MC in 2024. Also, I would love to see an MC of the Crowning of King Elessar. Aragorn on the steps, kneeling before Gandalf the White as Gandalf holds up the crown high above his head. Gimli standing to the side holding the pillow where the crown had just moments before lain. All with the carved doors of the Tower of Ecthelion framing the background. Anyways, have a great day. 👍

Great selection man, here's my ROTK MC thoughts to add to the list: 1. (Like a broken record) Premium/MC piece: Denethor on the Steward's Chair with the The Throne of Gondor and the severed Horn of Gondor in his lap...without Gandalf and Pippin preferably for a Premium and with them for MC. 2. The Witch-King looming over Eowyn with Merry crawling behind...we always forget that Merry made him killable after stabbing him with the dagger from the Barrow Downs. That would be a definitive Witch-King for me... 3. Frodo and Sam picked up from the slopes of Mount Doom by Gwaihir with Gandalf on his back...with the lava flowing below. So many scenes, so many great images....I haven't even mentioned Theoden, Gandalf, Shelob etc...

It seems to be one per year, at the moment? I’m not sure if they released two, in a previous year? But you can safely say 1 per year - expecting the next reveal in Q3 2023 matey 👍🏻

It probably would have been enough to just watch The return of the king twice as the next MC will definitely be from that film. Sam Vs Shelob is the obvious choice but might be too obvious, I could see that being released as a premium piece. I am going to put my money on Aragorn fighting the War troll from the last battle or Witching on Fellbeast fighting Eowyn

@@hauntofthecollector SSW made one twenty years ago or so but it's rather small and is falling over. I think alot of collectors would prefer one that is upright and roaring, perhaps in the middle of swinging its head. A piece that would you look at it, you can imagine the scene where they are charging towards the Rohirim.
@@tylermclim yeah, that’s the image I tried to get from the film! Just looks awesome!!! And at 1:6 would be huge!! (Even I’d just done as a bust!)… I could recall a smaller piece… just couldn’t remember who made it etc?.. 👍🏻

I say it's at Mnt Doom because Weta has pretty much confirmed that the anniversary MC's will follow the journey of the Ringbearer. And Daniel Falconer has hinted that we are going to see mount Doom in some form collectible wise next year. So it makes sense.
@@hauntofthecollector I think we are going to see a BG environment this year! When asked about it on the FoU Daniel did reference a quote by Gollum "the black gates are very close" so here's hoping!
