Seeing him celebrating was a joke he even gave jockey instructions and even his sister said she was just in the background in other words he was still taking training it's a disgrace

Didnt Jamie Spencer tell the whole world on ITV Racing at ascot the year Gordon Elliot was meant to be suspended, that Gordon gave him the race instructions. And the perfect racing world who does no wrong pushed it under the carpet
End Summer Jump Racing.No justification for it apart from short term income at the price of horse welfare.
Also whats wrong with having each horse do a trot up/ vets inspection before each race?? If its just at the big meetings thats HYPOCRISY/WINDOW DRESSING. Do it for every race meet and point to point. It happens for eventing and there is less money in that sport.
Also every jump course should have non slip showjumping surface on the take off and landing side, and finally reduce or cancel jump race cards (& flat?) at 25 degrees or above in Ireland, UK and France under the tripartite agreement.

Love Horse racing , like most respect and dignity , wellbeing for the horse most No1 safety matter. Horse deaths could destroy racing, it hurts me so much. Very emotional seeing these creatures, trying so hard to please and pushed so hard, destroyed for their endeavors. Heart breaking.
If you ban a trainer do you really think they wont still train the horses from behind the scenes of course they will if you ban the horses owners will just move yards

It never used to, it stopped on the weekend of 2nd June and statted again August 7th.
Blame the horse racing authorities and stop AW racing from june to August too.
about the 4 horsies that died at newton abbot ,is it time to say we should not have national hunt ground with firm in description .these horses have lot of mileage you hope and with landing on ground with firm cannot be good for knees and feet or is it hoofs?
No , simply go back to the old system no National hunt racing from the weekend of the 2nd June to either 7th or 10th of August.
Ive seen horses run on the hard at Devon and Newton Abbott. It suited some like Mighty Marine and Wareath.

I wouldn't be so confident about a long ban either, they are generally quite easy to overturn, (I have done on a few occasions) and they have now just started giving out 24 hour suspensions I had one a few weeks ago and you even get a countdown hours, minutes and seconds before you are allowed to post a comment again, all very silly really.
why do they not run the irish derby and oaks on same weekend or day.
I know he hasn't reached the giddy heights that once seemed possible, but Nostrum can still be competitive in group 3 or possibly group 2 company over 7 furlongs or a mile. No need to see him get run off his legs over six furlongs.
Tony martin and the IHRB are a disgrace. Doping horses multiple times over the years he's been. But authorities slap him on the wrist. Should be warned off! Along with others...
The huge big whopping most recent deaths of four horses at little Newton Abbott in one, single, solitary, Race Meeting, is completely shameful & totally unnecessary too for the reasons that Nick Luck says ie ''quite low grade horses, plus quick ground, plus quite extreme heat, is asking for trouble'' & little Newton Abbott most sadly completely delivered in the Asking For Trouble Stakes with these four deaths & what makes it totally unacceptable & quite rightly, totally disastrous for the image of National Hunt Racing, is that it all could have been near completely avoided & what certainly should be happening right now that EVERYTHING is being done so there are NO repeats of such a huge number of horse deaths in summer National Hunt Racing ever again.
All trainers bend the rules to suit themselves IE to get handicaps down some of the trainers are expert at it .if that horse is allowed to run it doesn't really matter who trains it
I've followed racing for 30 years but have now given up. Far too many issues with it now and the whole dishonesty of it all is just unbearable for me.

Stop summer jump racing the ground is far to firm or have all weather summer racing.
What concerns me is the amount of runners in races.
Take Windsor the other day 7 races 50 horses running it's not good enough something needs to change.

No it's not, there's plenty of big organisations, like Shadwell and Judamonte, we all have a lot of emerging owners like Amo Racing, Sheikh Mohammed Obaid Al Maktoum and Walthan Racing, plus plenty of small individuals owners who usually have decent horse, not much different to American racing really.

I've seen a number of American races both on dirt and turf and you get small fields, we don't rely on one owner either, actually it's the Irish Derby today and Godolphin don't have a runner, but Coolmore have four and they don't have the favourite, it's a independent owner and Breeder who does.
