    A little advice
    Somethings are to be understood and some are to be remembered.

    This was deep! Thank you upsc prep team. Memorizing is indeed one of the most common bottlenecks in the preparation.

    Beautifully and logically explained the subtle yet implicit difference, sir. Thank you so much! And illustrations in all your videos are the icing on the cake, helping us relate better, sir!

    Thank you very much sir! I even believe in understanding concepts rather than mugging up! From childhood I hated mugging up and you made my belief even stronger! Mugging up is the worst thing one can ever do to our brain!

    Sir, I have a doubt. You suggested starting with Polity or Economics. While preparing for Polity, can I also dedicate time to Economics, or should I focus entirely on Polity?

    • @amitpathak5902
      @amitpathak5902 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It's depend on you. If you have that kind of interest and you do not bore with one subject then go for it. Otherwise take 2 subject . Like read polity 3-4 days and then switch to economics for 2-3 days. It's depend on you. But don't do more than 2 subject in one day. Thanks . Mere pas itna hi gyan tha apne experience se. Jo inligo se sikha hu😂😂😂

    Please don't misguide. I listened to you and focused on understanding concepts more than facts....and i failed in Prelims.....the biggest reason was my lack of factual knowledge. Anybody who thinks i am wrong i have one task for you- prepare a subject and then give a sectional test of it. If your test goes bad ask yourself- how much did factual questions had to do with it. Answer- A Lot. This is true even if the test goes good. Don't misguide.

      Understanding the topic then jumping into the facts is what he would've meant. It's like garnishing your dish and bro you should also know your shortcomings. Blindly following someone is not a wise thing you should have created your own strategy by taking a gist from what others are saying and what suits you the best. No hate...all the best🫂🥲

      “Understanding concepts more than facts”, brother you are in a big trouble, concepts are made entirely of facts, once you understand the interconnected information/facts you or anyone need not to memorise as much if one is entirely dependent on memorising facts.
      Bhai baat ko samaj, understanding will fortify memorising capability, ye sir kehene ki koshish kar rahe hai🙂

    Actually the problem is with early education. In my school I used to memorize everything and that habit of mine remained. Now I have to unlearn it and train my brain to understand in the first instance instead of trying to memorise it.
    Nobody taught me in school to understand first.

      Why? Bhyii hamare teachers to aise nahi the. Hmare teachers to ulta bolte the ki smjh nahi aaya to dobara pucho, baar baar pucho. Exam mein galat mat krke aana. Han kuch teachers hote hein har school/college mein jo bacchon par mahnnat nahi karna chahte.
