Jaidah Thomas turns life around after struggles in her early life

Jaidah Thomas is transgender and became HIV positive after being sexually assaulted aged 15. After signing up with The Prince's Trust she says it allowed her to lose the labels society had given her and to find herself. She has since gone onto win the Ascential Educational Achiever of the Year Award at The Prince's Trust and TK Maxx & Homesense Awards 2018.
